This is a vintage hotel. The price is fantastic 47 dollar a night on the weekend. The room is clean and neat. You do not have a bathroom in your room, instead you share one on each floor, the bathroom is spotless. They have a common room with a toaster, microwave, hotplate, and a sink. They also have a coin operated washer and dryer. They people are nice and pleasant. The neighborhood is a little rough but it is ok. They are close to bart and muni. They are worth going to.

Stayed here for a quick break and really enjoyed the experience. The interiors are modern and well-designed. The room was cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff ensured everything went smoothly during my stay.

The hotel location is a bit mixed.. it's close to Market Street and the transit it provides. But there were people screaming at times in the alleyway next to the hotel along with car horns at random times. The deal breaker was that I came to realize there was evidence of bedbugs on the headboard, although the mattress itself seemed clean enough, that I had missed when I arrived pretty tired the night before. So in the end I got to pay two nights for a one night stay as I choose to not risk another night even if in another room.

Great price for private room in great location. However cant help but feel bad taste - very stingy service, need to pay for any accomodations. Also washrooms in hallways far from room, using them is a major hassle. Maybe pay 10$ more for something fully private

I thought that this hotel is a good price. It is ~$75 in a centrally located area in an expensive city and I think the staff work really hard to keep clean and running given the price bracket they are working in. The rooms were clean and they clean the shared bathrooms multiple times a day. BUT the neighborhood is definitely sketchy. I didn't mind too much but I didn't leave my hotel room at night. But I think in general, the people look very rough but a lot of them are kind. But if you don't feel comfortable with people openly doing drugs outside of your hotel, then you probably shouldn't stay here.
