I desperately wanted to be able to provide a decent review for this place. My boyfriend and I started our stay at the end of July/Aug while the property was still under Michelle Brown and Extended Stay America. Under her care the property had quarterly pest sprays, housekeeping would check on us every 2 weeks to ensure things were properly working/cleaned, the outside of the building was well maintained and cared for, and there was at least a well stocked staff. In March/April the property changed hands and was handed off to Motel/Studio 6. Since then, the property has gone incredibly downhill entirely. We no longer received pest control, the outside is overgrown and filled with trash, no one had come in our room for over two months to even check on us to ensure the room wasn't trashed or just to see if we needed anything. As if the roaches were not bad enough, the AC units are not properly sealed off, so everytime it rains, you get water in your room and presumably mold. During a blackout, a guest was stuck in the elevator and while the fire department was trying to get the person out, it became clear that there is not a single safety plan in place as the FD was told that 'their contact was in India, they just acquired the property and they don't have a maintenance man on site, nor do they know what to do in this event.' Thankfully, the guest was rescued off the elevator and power was restored shortly after. BUT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO GUEST SAFETY PROTOCOLS WHATSOEVER. The straw that broke the camels back occured 6.16.2026 at 0845 when the power was abruptly cut off. The entire hotel was completely, literally and figuratively left in the dark, as to why this occurred. There was no one in the office when this occurred, as the office typically didn't open till around 10am but the housekeeping/laundry women arrived to which I inquired about what it could be and one of them slipped up saying "oh did the power get cut off" and then immediately corrected that wasn't what she meant. By 1145ish, my boyfriend left work and came to assist me with the fact that the electricity was out, no one was in the office still to provide any clarity as to what is going on and so we searched for outages in the area and contacted Evergy. Upon speaking with Evergy, my boyfriend was informed by the Evergy customer service that the power was cut off due to nonpayment and the hotel needed to get into contact with them. At this point, there is still no one in the office to assist with questions or concerns, so we're forced to contact the number listed on the sign. We were then told that "it was a mix up with the transfer of the property and that it was in the process of being rectified." By that time, we left and found another hotel and started our moving process but that didn't help all the people still stuck there. My boyfriend and I were the only people there to ensure that people were able to have ice for medications and cold water, as we bought the hotel a cooler full of two large bags of ice as there were people who needed to keep insulin cold. We left his truck there for Casey, the GM who was left alone to deal with this mess by whatever junk person you have over her on her own, had a way to charge her phone to be able to ensure she could be able to have contact with the proper channels to be able to remedy this situation. The power ended up being out for an entire 23/24 hours. Anyone who had food there, no longer had it. People were unable to cook food, suffered incredibly hot temps all day without power or answers, everything that was in freezers or fridges definitely went rotten. We spent two days moving, the first day almost suffering heat stroke due to the lack of electricity, because mind you, THE WINDOWS ARE LOCKED TO ONLY OPEN MAYBE FOUR INCHES. Thankfully, no one seemed to suffer any injuries as a result to this which is an absolute miracle. Under no circumstances should this hotel even be operating anymore, as guest safety is not of importance or priority. Absolutely will be filing with BBB.

As a travel nurse, I often stay in long term, pet friendly hotels. This one is no exception! Big T is a great manager and has been so kind to us and is always willing to help out when you need something, no matter what it is! Brandon and Casey work hard to make sure everyone’s stay is comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

🚨BEWARE OF THIS PLACE When I initially came to this Motel 6, my interaction was great! The rooms were priced reasonably and the location itself was pretty well maintained. The room was fairly clean-- there were stains on the bottom sheet on the bed. Aside from that no issues. HOWEVER, This location seems to have an issue with predatory charging! I initially booked my room for one night. When I tried to extend the room the next morning, the rep instructed me to wait until 3pm to avoid an early check in fee. But when I went down after 3p, I was told I'd be charged an additional $25 late fee for checking in. Also, when I checked out the room, they attempted to charge $250 very sneakily for a smoking fee, when I did NOT smoke in the room whatsoever. I called the location and spoke to Casey (the manager) and she was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I'd never experienced service that poor at any location I've ever stayed in. If you're checking into this place with a card, I would highly suggest only putting the exact amount of the transaction on your card because they will attempt to charge you as much as possible regardless of authenticity.

This is not a hotel. It is a roach infested apartment complex that charges by the night. They offer absolutely 0 amenities that they advertise. The vagabond community loves it here. I reported a cockroach to the night auditor and he rolled his eyes, looked me up and down and said "it must've come from SOMEONE'S bag". As if to blame me. The morning guy sprayed and dead roaches are still laying in the hallway today!! They charge a dollar every time you dial the front desk, they provide 2 towels and 2 washcloths but you must pay if you need a new one. You're required to wash your own bedding and towels, that costs 6.50. I'll be contacting the KDA making a huge report. I have pics and videos and complaints on video from others staying here. If you don't mind the smell of human and animal urine, fleas, and bugs, and need a cheap apartment to rent, this is for you. Otherwise, beware.

The manager of the hotel - Michelle Brown - demanded that the TV in the room stayed screwed on top of the dresser in the room. I asked if I could please have the TV removed from the dresser because I needed to use the dresser as a stand for the TV that I purchased. I explained that their TV could stay in the room, but I needed it unscrewed from the dresser. She refused to have it taken off and refused to give any explanation as to why it had to stay attached. The reason she wouldn't give an explanation is because there is no reasonable explanation for why it would need to stay attached. There would have been absolutely zero harm in having it taken off temporarily. She has absolutely zero customer service skills and I am shocked that she is the General Manager for this location. Stay away from this hotel!!!
