TL;DR: not for the fussy, but good enough for the location and price The rooms are very small - if you've been to Tokyo, a Queen room is about the size of hotel rooms there. The photos are technically realistic but somehow make it look much more spacious, but it was a struggle fitting in 2 pieces of luggage. Service was hit or miss. (Apologies, no names mentioned here as I wasn't able to catch anyone's nametags) The standout was the Latina woman at the front desk. She did a lot of the thinking for us, anticipating any needs we might have especially as we were checking out, and even checking in on us as she was about to go off shift; not to mention she just gets things done quickly, no fuss. On the "miss" part of the service: one day we decided after a busy morning to retire back to the hotel at 3 PM. By this point, housekeeping had not passed by our room yet. When we went down at 5 PM after a nap, I asked the blonde lady at the front desk if she could ask housekeeping to swing by our room. She asked if by any chance we had the DND sign out the door, and we said yes, we did, because we were resting. So she said, sometimes on sold out days it takes until 2:30 PM for housekeeping to finish the entire rounds but that she'll "make a point" for next time. First of all, housekeeping should not take until 3 PM (not 2:30 PM as she said) to do the entire rounds for a hotel -- at least hire more manpower. Second, this is the first time I have ever encountered a hotel where the attitude about missing housekeeping was essentially "oh well, you missed it, better luck next time." I have always managed to ask for housekeeping in the afternoon for whatever reason, if it was not a service voluntarily given. Additionally, during my stay, there was a sweet-smelling brown liquid from one corner of the bathroom (presumably from a previous guest), as well as a (slightly) bloodstained pillowcase (this was relatively fresh, but definitely not my blood). Location? Can't complain. It's a walking distance away from a couple of subway stations.

Diamond member. Very disappointed. We were charged a nightly amenity fee that was not waived, despite not using any amenities. We’ve stayed over 80 nights with IHG last year, and this is a first for us. After disputing with the front desk, they noted the amenity fee would be fully waived given our circumstances, but we would still pay any city taxes and gratuities. I accepted. Upon checking my statement a few days later, I noticed they had only waived two nights of fees. We were lied to and this is unacceptable. For a property with a mandatory amenity fee - even for Diamond elites - it is severely lacking in amenities. There were no umbrellas available for use during heavy rain, water bottles were not refreshed, and slippers were not provided even after requesting them. It is unclear what the amenity fee actually covers. Our blinds were broken and we notified the front desk. They were never fixed. Housekeeping swapped our shower gel with the body lotion. That was never fixed either. We came down for breakfast on Sun, Jan 11 at 10:22am. The breakfast staff told us the restaurant was closing even though breakfast is advertised until 11:00am. We asked the front desk nearby, upon which we were seated reluctantly and treated extremely rudely. These are basic service standards that even lower tier IHG properties meet. This stay fell well below expectations and does not justify the fees charged.

The hotel is small on the front, and I almost missed it. My room looked fine, but whoever decided to put the bottles of hand soap and lotion under the vanity shelf was anti-human (see the picture). It was not a design issue: From earlier photos others uploaded, there were a soap tray and a real soap instead. When the management/chain decided to make changes, someone at the property needed to pay attention to such details.

The rooms are clean, tidy and have more than enough space in comparison to most other hotel rooms in the area and for the price. The actual highlight of the hotel is the service and its people, which go above and beyond to ensure you not only have a phenomenal stay, but that you are taken care off in every aspect. There is quite literally not enough good things to say about every single person that works here. Truly one of a kind service, just for that alone it makes the stay 100% worth it.

It’s perfectly fine. The rooms are nice, location isn’t terribly far from a subway line. The service is super hit or miss. Our late night gentleman at the front desk who helped us and said each night was SO kind. Some folks at the front midday haven’t felt the most welcoming. Lastly, the room being tidied up was weird. We stayed three nights; one day they just didn’t clean the room at all and the other they forgot to replace the towels. They TOOK our towels but there weren’t any leftover. Just two weird instances on a shorter stay. Overall, it’s fine.
