Pros: location location location! About 20min walk to the riverwalk and across a market that offers restaurants/local shops. Parking is free. Room is clean and standard hotel size. Free breakfast Cons: exterior is not the best but the rooms are definitely better. Breakfast offered basically waffles and sausage, the rest were bananas/muffins/cereal (fair for the price you pay). Overall: I would book again and definite go to hotel for the reason of its location. I would recommend this location!

We paid more than $300 for a three‑night weekdays stay, yet the experience fell far below acceptable standards. The cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel were unacceptable. The toilet had visible feces and urine stains from previous guests, and the faucet had a persistent buildup of mold underneath it. The whole room had a constantly old moldy smell. Most switches and outlets were not working, making the only place could charge our devices was an outlet on top of the dresser. The breakfast was also concerning; the sausage patties and eggs appeared to be leftovers from prior days, and I was served spoiled eggs along with over‑microwaved, chewy sausage patties. Furthermore, the hotel failed to enter our rental car’s license plate information into their system despite our providing it at check‑in. They also did not inform us that the flimsy paper tag they handed over needed to remain on the dashboard to prevent our vehicle from being towed. Despite these oversights, the manager played blaming game insisting the situation was entirely our responsibility when our rental car was towed by their contracted towing company. Her decision to shift the blame onto us ultimately compelled me to write this review to warn others. The whole towing ordeal caused significant stress, loss of sleep, and put us at risk of returning the rental car late and missing our flight. We also learned that we were not the first guests whose vehicles had been towed directly outside their rooms without prior notice. It was an excruciatingly stressful experience.

Staff was kind and efficient and the check-in process was simple, with a online option being readily available as well. The appearance of the hotel outside had raised some concerns about the quality of what you would find inside the room, but the rooms themselves were very clean and well kept. The downside of my particular room was that one of the lamps were dead and the TV wouldn't work. The breakfast was simple but tasty and check out was even quicker than checking in! Definitely get what you paid for with this hotel.

Perfect location right across from the Market Square and restaurants. Parking was easy to get in and out but make sure to have your tag on your vehicle as the tow truck driver is always making its rounds. Building is old and dated, but the rooms are small and clean, no unwanted little critters and linens are clean. Breakfast is pretty basic, but it's included, so no complaints.

Gabriel helped us and guided us with info for our 1st time in San Antonio. Courteous and knowledgeable. Housekeeping very polite. Location was great for what we wanted to experience/do while we were visiting… about a mile from Riverwalk, restaurants, shops and vendors across the street.
