The rooms are good. The service from front desk, customer service and housekeeping they are all excellent. I just love staying at Red Inn. The front desk no matter time of day, how busy they are they always look up and make eye contact with you. They was always friendly no matter if they was busy. If you needed something they stopped to help you. The WiFi is slow when lot of guests using it. No problem it still gets you on Facebook, you tube or TikTok. Thank you for wonderful stay.

I paid for a premium room and what I got is far from that. I get that its a budget hotel, but from the looks of the inside of our room it more like a flea bag motel. To start, the bathroom is an atrocity. The sink is hanging off the wall, the tub is cracked and has hastily patched holes in it. The shower curtain rod looks like its about to fall off at any moment. The mirror looks like something out of a murder scene. The pictures of rooms on their site show bathrooms with counters, our had none. The room itself isn't to bad, except you can tell it was a thrown together upgrade. The floor has deep gouging in some spots, the paint looks like crap, and there looks like blood splatter on one wall by the window. All in all, not sure what premium got me other than a small box with a water, juice, bag of nuts, and a trail mix bar. I won't be staying here again. The people at the front desk were nice though.

There's nothing noteworthy about this hotel, it's basically a Super 8 or Days Inn level hotel. Do not expect any breakfast beyond coffee or vending machines. To my knowledge, standard rooms don't include a microwave or fridge, but we got the premium 2 bed queen that did include a fridge and microwave. With that being said, the location is why I gave it 5 stars. Located directly adjacent to I-37 on the east side, you can easily walk to the Alamo, Shops at Rivercenter & Riverwalk, and we went even further west than those with no problem. In addition to the room price, they charge $3/day for use of the common space (pool and such, should just be included in room price), and $15/day for parking. This definitely beats the hotels on the west side of I-37 that were typically charging at least twice (or more) the nightly rate of this hotel. And that doesn't even consider that most of them ONLY offer valet parking at an average of $50/day, so go ahead and add that to your room charge. There was only one hotel I could find on the west side of I-37 that was somewhat close to the nightly rate of Red Roof Inn PLIS+, but after reading reviews I discovered that apparently it's so noisy from machinery in a connected building that they supply a pair of earplugs as part of the stay. What's even funnier is that this hotel is next to the outdoor rooftop of the Alamo Exhibit building and my son and I could both hear said machinery. This is an excellent stay if you want to be within walking distance of the touristy part of San Antonio yet still want to be friendly to you bank account. I had no problem with staff or any other guests, we greeted each other and made small talk like neighbors. Will stay again next time we visit.

Checked into the hotel at 9:12 PM and purchased the required parking permit. My vehicle was towed at 9:19 PM before I had a reasonable opportunity to display the permit. Paid $237.20 to recover my vehicle. Hotel has been unwilling to take responsibility despite documentation showing the timeline.

Front desk was very very nice, 😊 Delores was amazing and very sweet!!! She made my check in smooth as possible and quick!! Her kindness and professionalism should be recognized, more front desk agents should be like her! And as well Mr. Jesus he was very nice to and made sure I got the top floor and upgraded me he as well should be recognized for his professionalism and kindness!! They were both great! 😊
