Pa Xiong 4 months agoFront desk was very helpful. Room is clean.location is good. I travelled with 2 kids and felt safe here. I gave it a 4 star because I wish there were more breakfast options. Overall, I had a great stay here I especially love the view at night. Thank you!
Manuel a month agoI’ve stayed here multiple times, and every room I’ve been in has been in a state of disrepair. The rooms desperately need an update. The showers don’t work properly, and the sinks are unreliable. The lighting is inadequate, and the toilets are bad. The plumbing is faulty, and the smell is unpleasant. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. I don’t even walk barefoot in there, not even in the shower. It just doesn’t feel clean. However, I must admit that the customer service is good.
Barry Smith 6 months agoGood hotel overall (6.9/10). Stayed 5 nights in August. Spacious room. Good bed, though the pillows were average. Decent sized bathroom, good towels. Shower is average, only one spray setting, plus soap and shampoo pumps are in an odd spot (it limits the space you have). TV itself was good, but the channel selection is quite limited. AC worked well in a top floor room (Fresno gets hot). Breakfast was good (for context, I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast), decent sized breakfast room, too. Great staff. Parking is in a secure, gated lot. Location is good, a lot of food within walking distance. I used it as a base for Yosemite Valley and Sequoia NP - long drives but nowhere near as pricey. I would stay again - the negatives weren't deal breakers by any stretch, and for the price paid ($71 total per night) the value was there.
Anabel Valenzuela 4 months agoIt's a great hotel to stay at. It's affordable and the staff is very nice and very accommodating.. there's a gym, there's a pool.. no one that messes with you, no weirdos lingering everywhere🫡👍.. and there's actually pretty good, free breakfast in the morning at the restaurant in the lobby👍💯.. and it's free!!!👏🏻 Waffles are great, the eggs were great, and the cook was very nice, an accommodated our needs with a smile on his face, exactly what you would expect from staff working at a hotel.. i stay here probably every weekend and each time, i have a great experience. To keep your car safe, they take your license plate number at check in, so that's a plus, at least. You know, your ride is going to be okay and not messed with.. and the best part is that there is pretty much every type of fast food restaurant you can think of around you within a mile radius.. and the 41 N and S freeway entrance is right next to the hotel.. I rate it a hard 10👍🥰
Belinda a month agoMy husband and I arrived at the Ramada Wyndham hotel at about 6am to confirm our reservation and early check in. Emiliano told us we could not check in until 8am. My husband and I had been awake for over 24 hours while my mother was in the hospital at Saint Agnes. Prior to our arrival, Priceline called the hotel directly to confirm 7am check in, and the hotel’s website also stated the same. We explained this to Emiliano, but he responded that third-party bookings “always get the information wrong.” He then stated he was unable to find our reservation since he had already printed them for the day and was in the process of confirming them. We said that we had only booked the reservation over the phone a few minutes earlier. He searched on the computer and informed us that our reservation showed a 3pm check in, making it seem like we’d have to wait until then. We explained again that Priceline had contacted the hotel directly. Emiliano responded dismissively that he “didn’t speak with anyone.” He stated the earliest check-in available is 8am. We reluctantly agreed to wait. There was then an awkward silence until my husband asked whether Emiliano needed anything from us to confirm check in. Emiliano responded rudely “I don’t need anything from you. I can’t do anything. I can’t check you in until 8:00 a.m.” We returned to our car and waited for two hours. When we came back at 8am, a different front desk agent told us that there were no rooms available and that we could not check in. We explained what had happened earlier, but she stated there was nothing she could do and told us to come back at 12pm. I asked to speak with a manager but one was not available until next week. We left back to our car physically exhausted, emotionally drained and incredibly frustrated. We should have been told that we wouldn’t be able to check in. This would have given us an opportunity to look for a different hotel. We decided to go back at 9am to ask if a room could be expedited. We were suddenly told a room was available. We had not been notified of this and may have missed the opportunity had we not asked again. To make matters worse, they overcharged us for the early check in fee. The lack of communication, conflicting information, and unwillingness to help made an already difficult situation even more frustrating and distressing. Unfortunately, the room itself was not in acceptable condition. There looked to be blood like stains on the carpet, and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite being labeled as non-smoking. Due to our exhaustion, we did not have the energy to report the issues, especially since it seemed unlikely that another room would be available. Edit: after speaking with upper management about the situation, they completely put the blame on us and did not address or acknowledge the concerns that were raised. Accountability should be held on the hotels part to ensure something like this doesn't happen again.
