I’m only doing this cause they refuse to call me and resolve this issue. Should I start with the fire and burn marks all over the walls and floor? Maybe the tags written on the wall in pen? How about the huge hole punched through the bathroom door? No cause that isn’t better than the head sweat stains on the bed? We can’t leave out the dirt and stains all over the counters and floors? The cherry on top was not being able to shower! That picture is attached too. None of which do any justice. All for the property to tell me… “you see we have rooms available I just want ant to ensure it’s one that meets up to your expectations”…. Yea? One that is safe, half clean, and where I’m not being looked at like the crazy one for wanting a room change… The entire experience. Wildly unprofessional. Corporate was helpful at first but this is now a joke. Crickets. I have been the one to follow up. Craziest $378 night ever. I will make it a priority to share this experience everywhere I can. Paid for a week up front and got $0 back after checking in at 7pm and speeding out of there to shower elsewhere at 3:30am.

I was turned away from this place at 12:40am even though I had a reservation and had already paid!! After 20 minutes of arguing with the night attendant I had to find another place to stay at 1am. I am a woman, was traveling solo, and it was about 17 degrees out. More details below. I flew into Denver after a long day of work. When I arrived at this motel, there was no one at the front so I called for the night attendant via the outdoor phone. The phone connected to an operator who said she would “try” to get the night attendant with no guarantees… She was able to reach the person on duty who came down. He was immediately rude (the employee's name was Cody) and made me feel like my arrival was an inconvenience. He proceeded to tell me he wasn’t even sure he could check me in since I didn’t notify the motel of my late arrival. He did something on the computer and then told me the system was running a night audit and there was absolutely no way he could check me in. By this point it was about 1am. I was completely perplexed by this because there were rooms available AND I had already paid for my room - my card had been run. At 1am in a city I am not familiar with, I had to find a completely new place to stay as this employee refused to let me into a room. I have never ever in my life been treated so poorly by someone in the hospitality industry. I was lucky that there was a Doubletree nearby, but had to pay about $50 more to stay there than I would have if I had been able to use my reservation. Extended Stay did refund me, but when I called the next day to complain and asked to speak with the manager she wouldn’t speak with me. Not only will I never stay at an Extended Stay, I'm telling everyone I know about this awful experience.

Stuck behind two strip clubs and the backside of a Petsmart lies this gem of a hotel. After I dropped off my friend last night, who was visiting from Mexico, she called me shortly thereafter sobbing. Why? Staff decided to cancel her reservation without notice, entered her room without consent (while she wasn't there), threw her belongings in a garbage bag, stolen the drinks in her fridge, and told her she had to leave the property immediately when she returned. Staff claimed they were "overbooked" and someone else needed this room. When she said she had nowhere to go, the Ace of Hospitality at the front desk said, "Not my problem. You need to leave in 2 minutes because my shift is almost done, and the front desk closes." Yet it was 10 PM and there weren't more than dozen cars on the whole property. No way was this whole place rented out. She was only on the 2nd night of her 5-day stay for which she paid in full. Not only was it was late at night, and she's 4'11", AND VISITING FROM A FOREIGN COUNTRY. Your champion of compassion at the front desk should be canned and sent to work at a farm so he can be among his kind - animals. If you're visiting Denver from abroad, go somewhere else where you won't be stranded late at night with your belongings thrown into the trash.

Good location, rooms were okay, staff do their jobs. However, the reason for the 1 star is because of the failure to provide a basic amenity, failure to disclose said issue, and failure to correct said issue in a timely manner well before I arrived(more on this later). Then using policy to charge extra. I do have screenshots of reviews highlighting the amenity issue, and video proof disputing the extra service charge as well as video showcasing the lack of hot water. The amenity failure was as mentioned the lack of hot water; it was lukewarm(sometimes) to ice cold(most of my stay). This has been a core issue for 2 weeks prior to my visit and it was not addressed by the time I arrived nor during. I have tried to reach out to the on-site staff to see what could be done, yet nothing was resolved. I emailed corporate to dispute the charges, and if there is nothing done within the next business day then I will move forward with a dispute with my bank with the evidence I currently have. The main issue I would like to address is the lack of transparency and the incorrect usage of policy to charge extra. Had there been warning then I could have planned around it, the incorrect charge, however, would still have had me not be a returning customer. I was hoping for a decent stay as per most of the reviews. So before you book, ask if hot water is available, and be prepared to shower elsewhere.

My name is Mr. Porter & since I’ve been staying here it has been such a pleasure. The rooms are ALWAYS being kept clean & maintenance consistently keeps the property in great shape. The hotel manager Ms. Daniel is such an AMAZING woman. She’s always available on call whenever you need her, she’s always making sure the guest a well taken care of & she’s goes out of her way to help you. She has done a remarkable job with setting a high standard for herself and the staff. The staff is very respectful & when I’m not in my room I can assure you that my personal items will not be tampered with while they are cleaning.. In closing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING here because you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to ask for Ms. Daniel & tell them Mr. Porter sent you. Mr. Porter
