I didnt want to add a star but I had to push something to get to the reviews. Out of my whole life, I've never seen such a dirty motel like this in my life. My grand kids were appalled. Let's start with thugs hanging on the front of the building. Entering the lobby smelled like vomit. Got to my room, there was a hole in the wall, coffee spilled all over the counter, floor dirty,bathroom nasty and hair smeared all in the tub with a spider in it. Pulled back the sheets, hair all in the bed left from other occupants, dust and paint covering the headboards, sheets and mattress stained. I packed back up and went to the lobby to let the desk clerk know about the room and all he was trying to offer was housekeeping to clean the room which would me in the morning after I stayed. Hell no. I got a refund and left 130 in the morning. I came to this location on Lombard street in emergency for the night and the price was extremely high for how dirty it was. Never stay here. Go to across the street to the Renaissance Hotel. You'll be pleased. 20 thumbs down.

This is my second time coming this Hotel. I’m from Brooklyn NY and whenever I come back to Baltimore I’m staying here again. The main reason is the Manager Mohammed. He is an excellent representative for the hotel and an amazing human being. He was courteous and extremely pleasant each day of our visit. Whatever I needed whether it was directions, information or supplies. He made sure we were taken care of. The breakfast was excellent and so was our suite which had an excellent view again thanks to Mohammed.

Hotel has no parking and no place to to unload luggage. Had to park across the street and carry everything 1/2 block to hotel. The parking cost was very high too. They should make that very clear before you book. Also they should make a deal with a garage for a special rates for hotel guests. The rooms weren't very clean, the furniture was very tired. The only maintenance was the absolute minimum and haphazardly done. We got to the breakfast buffet at 7:15 and there was barely 2 scoops of eggs,a couple of pieces of dried out rubbery sausage and cold hash browns. No waffles and couldn't find the attendant either. The best thing was we were only there for one night.

My husband and I are experiencing poor service. First of all when we arrived the air wasn't working in room 501, then we were switched to 502 and the refrigerator didn't work. The man at the front desk said it was working this morning. I dont think they are checking the rooms see if everything is working properly. If we didn't report this problem I fell that Comfort Inn would have tried to charge me for a damaged refrigerator.

Customer service doesn't even deserve 1 star. We've been having a pleasant enough stay until we were woken up by the smoke detector in our room chirping loudly every 30 seconds, like a low battery warning. I called the front desk to get some help. First he told me the entire hotel is non-smoking. Um, yeah, we don't smoke. That's not the issue. I told him again that the smoke detector was chirping loudly. "It's no problem, ma'am, everything is okay." So I tried again, telling him it's keeping us from sleeping. "Everything is fine, it's no problem." I was putting my shoes on to head down to the lobby and talk to him face-to-face, because yes, it IS a problem when it's keeping us from sleeping, when my daughter found a reset button that resolved the problem. I was ready to pull it off the wall completely if the hotel staff wouldn't help. I will talk to the manager in the morning about the overnight staff. Update to add breakfast review. Cold breakfast... eggs, sausage, hashbrown patties. There is a microwave, but we watched others trying to use it, door would stick shut, so if you did warm up the cold food, it was a fight to get it back out of the microwave. Elevators worked well, but one of them you've got to take a step up to get on because it doesn't arrive level with the floor. Everything else about the hotel was perfectly adequate. My family has a proud history of staying at low cost hotels. It takes a lot to get a complaint from me. This wasn't the worst we've endured.
