Overall, I had a good stay. The gym and indoor pool are great, and the rooms are very nice However, I want to warn others about hidden high extra fees that were added after I checked out. It would be much better if the hotel showed the true, total price before booking I was also disappointed by the service at the restaurant. When we asked for our 'free soup' promotion, the manager treated us poorly, assuming that was all we were there for—even though we actually spent much more than that. The staff should make sure every guest receives the same good service.

We had a very good stay at Hyatt Regency Boston. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. A nice surprise was receiving complimentary clam chowder, which was a thoughtful local touch and much appreciated. Location was really good as it's conveniently located downtown. One thing that stood out is that the hotel lobby is located on an upper floor, so after entering the building you need to take an elevator to reach it. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our first night was quite noisy, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Fortunately, the rest of our stay was much more comfortable. Overall, this is a solid hotel in a great location, and I would happily stay here again when visiting Boston.

We are currently on day 3 of a 7-night stay at Hyatt Regency Boston and have been very impressed so far. The location is outstanding—just a short walk to Chinatown with countless dining options, while also being conveniently located in the Theater District and close to many downtown attractions. It has been a great base for exploring Boston. A special thank you to Tamika for her exceptional service. We are celebrating our anniversary during this trip, and despite the hotel being very busy with airline crews, conferences, and other guests, she kindly helped upgrade us from a Junior Suite to an Executive Suite. Her professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go the extra mile made a wonderful impression and helped make our anniversary stay even more special. This is clearly a high-occupancy hotel with a lot of activity, yet the service has remained friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay and greatly appreciate the hospitality shown so far.

Stayed at this location in May 2026. Location here is really darn good. Close to the Boston Common, many different cafes, breakfast spots, dinner spots. It’s an easy walk. Rooms were very reasonable, spacious living area and bathroom was reasonably designed. I believe Patricia took care of our room each day (thankfully we don’t make a mess but nice for daily touch up cleaning). Shoutout to Narayan in the restaurant for exceptional service for the two evenings we went to dinner in the restaurant. Excellent service. Greeted on the way in and out of the hotel and offered to help with bags : Ubers / reservations. The service overall from the front desk was great! Destination fee is well explained but it’s pricy for each day. The premium wifi option never came up for us, but the normal wifi connection dropped often (likely due to being in the corner room area). Not problematic enough to dock a star. For our first Hyatt hotel, it was clean, good service and would visit again if in the area.

Great location. Great gym. Rooms were just fine. But let's face it, the resort fee or destination fee of $35 per day (we paid $105 for three days), if a full blown trashy scam. No, I don't need to do any laundry. I don't need a newspaper. I don't need a BOWL OF SOUP. Be better Hyatt Regency....
