Less than a year ago, I wrote a pretty scathing review of the Red Rock. I swore I would never go back. Well, tonight we just returned from another week at the Red Rock. We had originally made reservations at a place on the strip, but I just could not bring myself to go there. So, at the last minute we changed our reservations to the Red Rock. We felt a sense of relief. We know the property and feel comfortable and safe there. From the Front Desk agent to the floor, restaurant and Housekeeping staff, they were all great. We enjoyed the new casual dining restaurants. They were all fantastic and better than the previous restaurants, especially the doughnuts! We do miss Side Piece Pizza but the new place was great and the staff was extremely friendly. The best meal of our stay was at Lucille's Smokehouse. The southern fried chicken with gravy was delicious. Our room was quiet and well prepared, with our only complaint being how soft the beds were. It would be great to have the option for a room or suite with a more firm bed. All in all, we had a wonderful time and are looking forward to going back.

Ill start off by saying that the restaurant selection, the pool, and the staff, really are great. However my husband and I were greatly disappointed with the room. We traveled by car 1,200 miles to stay here & were expecting the room to live up to its 5 star resort rating. There was hair all over the tub, shower, floor & wads of hair all over the carpet. The nightstands were dusty and none of the surfaces in the bathroom had been wiped clean. We went down to the front desk and let them know. They were very polite and changed our room immediately (also gave us a $50 dining credit). However, they did not send anybody to make sure our new room was actually clean. It also looked as if nothing had been wiped down or vaccumed. If the stay hadn't been non refundable we absolutely would have left and found another hotel. The pool is definitely the only thing that improved our stay. Edit: I forgot to add that the shower literally screams while you use it. A super high pitched noise the entire time. The grout is very dirty in the shower & all of the bathroom. And the shower head is that of a motel 6. Not a 5 star resort. We lost power for 4 hours while staying here. The desk never contacted us. We only found out why our toilet, water & wifi wasn't working because the restaurant we had reserved called to cancel our reservation as the whole casino had lost power. We were not apologized to by the hotel staff nor even let know of the issue. On top of all this, Friday night was a concert here. We had no idea the concerts were held right outside the hotel at the pool & that room-shaking music would be played until midnight. We had booked this stay to be away from the strip & the noise. We might as well have booked on the strip for much cheaper.

Save your money! My wife and I stayed at Red Rock expecting a nice getaway and got motel-level service at casino prices. The room was hot the entire stay: AC cranked to its lowest setting and it still felt like a sauna. On top of that, there was loud construction noise by the pool at 10pm. We were on the 19th floor and could still hear it clearly. I called the front desk and got an AI bot that promised to "dispatch someone." Twenty minutes later, nothing. Called again around 11pm, got told someone was on the way. Nobody ever showed. Then to top it all off, the bathroom lights stopped working the next morning. For what they charge, this is unacceptable. No one should pay these rates to sweat through the night, listen to construction, and get brushed off by a robot when they ask for basic help. We won't be back.

Great welcome from the players desk, signed us up for the Station Casinos app (it has a slot finder!) and gave us some Golden Knights swag plus $5 in free play. The slots were friendly enough we were able to play for awhile and didn’t lose all of our money right away. We took advantage of the steak & egg special at the Lucky Penny which was absolutely fantastic with bottomless coffee. Well worth the drive and we’ll be back for sure. Such a great experience - five stars.

We visit Vegas about 3-4 times a year and stay at MGM properties on the strip. However, we always make a point to rent a car and drive to Red Rock casino for a day. The location is beautiful, casino has many food options, movie theater, plenty of new slots, very clean, and service has been top notch. If you want to get away from the crowds on the strip, and probably win more money because slots feel looser, stop by here. You will enjoy yourself.
