Free Parking - that says a lot. Why pay $25 to visit and gamble or eat. Thank You South Point. We went to the Garden Buffet, Thursday late afternoon. A great place to eat at a reasonable price. We did have a poor waitstaff at our table. Never removed dishes or refilled drinks. In fact she disappeared. If not for a coupe other waitstaff person, it would have been a disappointment. The food was very good, a lot of variety, and choices. The desert section is one of the best, everything was super tasty.

I'm a huge fan of South Point every time we come to Vegas. Traveled to Vegas for this year's USBC Women's Championships - South Point has TWO bowling alleys! - and we had an amazing time. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and welcoming; we really enjoyed relaxing here at the end of each day. The shower had high water pressure, turning your bathroom into a spa at the end of each day. The hotel itself is reasonably priced, especially if you book far enough in advance. The food options are also incredible; there's literally something for everyone! I added the options below, but top recommendations from me are the Midnite Menu at Coronado Cafe ($6.95 for a 7 oz. New York Strip Steak, Two Eggs, Hash Browns, and Toast?! It's the BEST!); Baja Miguel's Combination Plate and a House Margarita (that's free when you remember to take your coupon book from your room!); and Zenshin's Miso Soup and the 8 Second Bull Ride sushi roll. You can also get 1/2 priced Shakes & Drinks between 2-5pm at Steak & Shake, but make sure you get in line before 4:30pm; there is always a line but I promise you it's always worth it! Finally, there's so much to do at South Point: you can gamble, you can bowl, you can go the movies, and even see the rodeo! You might even run into the world's best bowler (EJ Tackett!) while you're bowling Nationals! South Point is a 10/10 and we will be back for next year's USBC Open Nationals and for all of our future Las Vegas trips!

Off the strip local casino. The food at their restaurants is great! Prices are not unreasonable. Casino is absolutely smoke filled. Smells pretty gnarly too. But, rooms are decent with nice bathrooms. A good deal if you are looking to save money by staying off the strip. Hotel offers free shuttle to and from the airport.

I've been coming to southpoint for a couple years now. It doesn't have the welcome of glad you came to visit. It's more like I should be thanking them for coming there. The restaurants are still the same and very good and great service. The casino ladies that give you your drinks. You can ask them for a drink but it never comes by. I assume it's so you get tired of waiting and you go by your own. Asking a question at the front desk is kind of an inconvenience to the staff. It's the only game in town with a great bowling alley for our tournaments. Just not the same one that I have been going to for years.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, shower easily fits 2 people, beds (king) very comfortable, food at the different restaurants was very good and so was the professionalism of the staff. There's plenty of parking in front of the hotel and parking garage. Finding parking in the front of the hotel was not a problem at all. The spa and fitness center are clean with updated weight machines,treadmills and many others. Very spacious as well. The bowling alleys are awesome and lots of bowling lanes. If I could change one thing about the stay, that would be adding a microwave to the rooms to heat up leftovers from the restaurants. Overall our stay was more than I expected especially during New Years Eve and Day. Yes its a 5 minute drive from the strip but not having to deal with the heavy traffic and crowds was well worth it. When we went to our shows we found free parking near our the venues. Most places charge for parking but do your research to locate free parking. The Rio has free parking, the Wynn has up to 3 hours of free parking and so does a few other places. Enjoy your time in Vegas and remember do your research for the free parking and other things.
