The room, the amenities, the breakfast was all fine. The biggest issue was finding a place to park... about 10 inches of snow had fallen the day before and they (apparently) hasn't made arrangements to have the snow removed/plowed from parking lot. Other than that, it was reasonably nice at a competitive rate. The single digit temps and strong winds the next morning were a stark reminder of the importance of some of the routine "grounds and maintenance" aspects we often take for granted in the midwest.

I am not sure how this place has earned anything over 2 stars (aside from the location) . I don’t know where to start w/this hotel. I guess I would say: book your stay in advance… somewhere else. Shame on me for waiting until the last minute. Arrived Thursday afternoon for a 3 night stay. While at the gas station near the hotel I called all of the hotels around the gas station and the Comfort Inn is the only place that had rooms. They told me $183 per night over the phone. It was $189 in person…fine. The staff I would say was neither friendly or unfriendly. They could have cared less if we stayed or not. They have a pool, fitness room and complimentary breakfast… (none of which I took advantage of), but cool. On to the room. They don’t use the same cleaning products on the floor that they use in the lobby because if they did, that would be a dead giveaway as to what you’re walking into. When you get off the elevator, it stinks. I can’t describe the smell, but it stinks. Get into the room and it smells worse. Stale cigarettes (non smoking hotel), musk and old pee. The curtains and lampshades have so many stains on them. There are so many spider webs all over the place. The furniture is very dirty and dusty. The pillows are paper thin. The mattress under the mattress pad has many stains. The air conditioner also smells like pee when turned on. The bathroom sink has a bunch of dirt, mold and rust around it making it very hard not to gag when brushing. The shelf in the shower is broken so you have to sit your body wash on the floor. The water pressure is OK, but the drain smells like sewage. I was awaken every morning by the people walking around with what appeared to be cement blocks on their feet in the room above us. I wish I could’ve disputed the charges and slept in my car. On the positive side: it’s close to the highway, airport, gas station and few restaurants.

Noise is the one thing I didn't like. I was on 3rd floor and people on floor above were very noisy even by simply walking across the floor. I kept getting woke up from them. Also the smell is strange. Could use some room fresher.

The Manger decided that having an officer come to the establishment to provide proof of stay for a court matter to be grounds enough for trespassing My wife and I. His exact words were " We don't want this sort of interaction here" when only days prior he agreed to the officer coming to the establishment to make a report. Over all management is unprofessional and they lack customer service. I wouldn't waste Money staying there.

Satish is the bomb.com. He gave me great professional customer service when checking in and even let me check in early. He is always pleasant and very helpful when you come or call to the front desk. He deserves a raise as he works very hard. I have stayed at this location several times and he is always there. Thanks again!
