Tangi Shotwell 2 weeks agoWe have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Great location for downtown event. This past weekend was the worst. No valet and not told that in advance. Ice machine not working , tv didn’t work out of coffee the next morning in lobby and the carpet and furnishings were terribly worn. Stained seats and the freezer in the fridge was in need of a serious defrost. Totally unacceptable for a downtown hotel. It really needs to be shut down. Will be contacting corporate for a refund.
Tyler Friel 5 months agoCame here for a baseball coaches convention and somehow this place was recommended by the convention center. Parking is a joke and even though they have a valet option, he was no where to be found and apparently didn't come in all day. Then we checked in, the room was not prepped at all (photos included). The garbage cans were cleared and knocked over but the bedding was thrown about and the bathroom was pretty gross. Went down and got another room, that one was ready but came with a wonderful 78 degree setting. We turned the AC on and left to go to the hotel bar. Only good thing about this place was the heavy pour by the bartender. Finally got back to the hotel to 80 degrees and we were told the "mechanic had gone home for the night, turned off the AC power, and that if was only pumping out hot air if you had the thermostat on". Tried to fall asleep and the bed was the creakiest I've ever been on. Shower had no hot water either. Myself and the three coworkers left in the morning and went to a Hampton. Oh, forgot about the stink bug I found in the bedding too. Place should be demolished.
Bert Young 4 weeks agoRoom 1003 experienced a ceiling collapse over the shower area during my stay. I reported it at checkout and was told a manager would contact me. I followed up by email and, more than a week later, have received no response regarding either the incident or a lost item inquiry. Disappointing lack of follow-through. As of June 8, I still have not received any direct follow-up regarding either the ceiling collapse or my lost item inquiry despite multiple assurances that management would contact me.
K A 2 months agoI don't usually write many reviews, but I wanted to warn people before staying here. Check in was terrible. There was a line out the door for hours and took us forever to get to the front. The ladies checking in were very nice, but they needed more help. They were sending a staff member up to see if rooms were ready and having to re-assign rooms if they weren't. Only 1 of the four elevators was working and it took 10+ minutes to get one to stop on your floor only to have it full of people. Our shower was making a screeching noise the entire night that kept me up and when you turned the knob no water came out. While waiting to check in we heard several other people coming down to tell the front desk that their shower didn't work either. Our friend's room was blasting heat despite being 75 degrees outside. We went to the bar to get a drink, and it was also blasting heat and about 90 degrees. We were all sweating and had to leave. I would never return to this hotel and would recommend others to not either.
Mariah B 2 months agoWe waited 30 minutes to check in and another 20 minutes to get an elevator up to our floor. One of our key cards didn’t work. Our showers were out of shampoo and body wash. The water was lukewarm. Our AC did not work. The staff was not helpful and there was barely anyone to accommodate the large amount of people checking in. There were two working elevators. Parking was advertised as $17 but ended up being $24. Hotel was outdated and looked nothing like the website. The hotel bar was not stocked and the bartender had no idea what he was doing. Will not be returning.
