I have stayed here for over 25 years, it's changed hands a couple of times, but the new owners seem to be working to making things better. If you are used to 5 star hotels, this is not your spot. Rooms are older and on the small side, but they are perfect for me. I stayed here for work and now since I've retired. Very close to the symphony metro stop. Easy to get to many places. I often stay here for football games. The people who work here are very nice and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. It is across from the most fantastic library you will ever see. I got in one time quite early and the really nice gentleman at the desk let me get in early. Last time I couldn't, but they kept my bags and I went to explore the International district. The adjoining coffee shop is fabulous. In a city known for coffee, it is a step above. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are also some of the best in Seattle. I will be there this upcoming Sunday.

We were in town to enjoy watching our Mets beat the Mariners, and found this to be a great hotel for our visit! We could easily walk from the Amtrak station with our rolling carry on and young-ish legs, and were glad to be able to walk not only to the stadium, but so many great Seattle locations. The price was very reasonable for a smallish, but comfortable room, but the best part was excellent customer service particularly from Halah! She was warm and welcoming, and helped us store our bags after check out but before we headed back on the train. She’s a great asset to the company! Thanks Halah!!

Fairly disappointed with the quality of this hotel. Given its location and price per night you expect a somewhat quality experience and that is not what you find here. We had the misfortune of having a room with no working ac and only discovered this after walking around downtown in 80 degree heat. Walls are paper thin, be prepared to hear every conversation in the rooms near you. The building itself was in disrepair. Carpet was pulling up in places, dings and scratches on the walls, all the furniture is scuffed up. The bathroom in my room was dingy with a smell of stagnant water, dust covering the vents. Handle to the sliding glass of the shower was rickety. Guest amenities are basically non existent, free wifi ( very slow and spotty). I believe I would’ve had a more comfortable stay sleeping on the streets outside the hotel as there would’ve been a breeze. Nothing was good about this hotel except for the front desk attendants. But hey you get a complementary water bottle.

Don’t book here!! HVAC, refund and Integrity issues!! Booked a quick stay to enjoy Seattle for a day in late May. Upon check in there were HVAC issues not revealed, system not changed over and no warning. The room was unusable, too hot. Two service staff, including one assistant manager, said if I checked out right away that I’d get a full refund. Only after weeks of following up with them, At best, I got a 40% refund. Go with the Attic Club hotel instead. They are upfront with what there place is and their breakfast rocks!!

We stayed at the hotel in early April. While we picked based on location (near UW Harborview Clinic) and price, we were very happy with the result. I would say the room was European in style. Comfy bed, a desk with a chair, good bedside lighting and outlets but not spacious. We were in a room with a level entry shower - very nice. Front Desk staff could not have been nicer!!. We opted to pay for room incl. breakfast in the attached coffee shop- decent but not insprired. Had light drinks in the connected dining room- comfortable. Location of the hotel was excellent via the Light Rail and elsewhere. Big public library across the street. Agree: not suited for anyone with significant mobility limitations. Stairs to get to the elevator - staff will offer to move suitcases. Rare for us, we opted to not get a rental car - in part the parking offered by the hotel was $45/night. Ready access to Light Rail and close places to walk to was great alternative.
