Visiting from Canada with my daughter, I accidentally left my passport in my hotel room and didn't realize it until I reached the border. Unable to return home, I immediately tried contacting the hotel. Unfortunately, there was no way to reach hotel staff after 8:00 PM. I drove two hours back to the hotel and repeatedly called the posted after-hours number, but it went straight to voicemail every time. I called more than 40 times with no response. By then it was after midnight, and my daughter and I were sitting in the parking lot wondering if we'd have to spend the night in the car until morning. What concerns me most is that this wasn't simply an inconvenience. If a guest had been locked out of their room, experienced a medical emergency, or needed urgent assistance, there appeared to be no reliable way to reach staff. Fortunately, a security guard eventually arrived and was able to locate my passport. After another two-hour drive back to Canada, I didn't get home until after 4:00 AM, despite having to be at work at 8:00 AM. The next day, it was nearly impossible to reach the front desk. When I finally got through, I was told someone would investigate and get back to me. Nobody ever did.

Rating: 0/5 Stars (If I could) NEVER EVER BOOK THIS PLACE, EVEN IF THEY OFFER YOU A FREE ROOM. Our trouble started the literal moment we booked this property. They double-booked our room, hit us with an unauthorized double charge of $314, and then subjected us to weeks of mental harassment by completely ignoring our phone calls. The systemic negligence and incompetence here are staggering. Despite repeated attempts to reach customer support, we were met with total radio silence. The only way we finally secured a refund for their financial malpractice was by creating a viral post on X (formerly Twitter). It shouldn't take a public social media campaign to get your own money back from a hotel. To make matters worse, they completely abandoned us on our arrival night. Our flight was scheduled to land at 10:00 PM, and we proactively notified the property that we would arrive by 11:00 PM. Their response? They bluntly told us they don't check guests in after 8:00 PM and that we should "find our own arrangements" for the night. We were tourists stranded in an unfamiliar place and were literally forced to spend the night waiting at the airport. If you actually manage to get into your room, the service is easily the worst I have ever encountered in the U.S. Housekeeping is essentially nonexistent unless you actively nag the staff. To top it off, they refuse to clean rooms on weekends—the exact time when most guests are actually in residence and need it. This place is defined by poor management, terrible customer service, and a complete lack of basic human empathy. Save yourself the immense stress, the headache, and the safety risk. Spend the extra $40–$50 to book a reputable hotel in the area where your money, your time, and your peace of mind will actually be respected.

When I payed for my room here I was homeless for a year and days away from a move into my new apartment... so I was like a A seasoned veteran in the world of staying in dangerous, bug infested, biohazard, nightmarish places not fit for human occupancy! LET ME JUST SAY, NO kind of life lives in this place, not even staff! I arrived and there was no one to give me my keys, no phone number to call, hell, the ring camera was broken... there were used syringes in the parking lot and that smell was straight out of a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. Dude, the signs are even run down with dead lights bulbs... looks like a location in the fallout series... I think i saw 8 different cars with people sleeping in them.... odd for a hotel. Now, if you're just trying to hide from the living it'll work, because no one is here! If you want some kind of place to stay, I'd suggest your car or even a park before this place. I wouldn't stay here if they paid me (and im a homeless bum for 3 more days!)

I am beyond incredibly disappointed with the service and communication at this inn. Due to circumstances me and my husband had to create a last minute booking which was confirmed at 8:30 pm. We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm after a long flight hoping we would be able to check in and finally relax after the long day of travel. Upon our arrival, there were three other cars parked in-front of the check in area. There was a small cluster of 5 or 6 people waiting outside the door of the office, which was locked and all lights shut off. The group of people told my husband that they had been waiting for almost thirty minutes and had not heard from any staff and were just as confused as we were. I called the hotel number listed in the confirmation email, which went to voicemail and an automated message asked if I would like to be transferred to a customer service line, which went I did. I am at a complete loss of words to describe how this call went. A woman answered asking how she could help, and I explained our situation, and that we weren't quite sure what was going on or what to do. After I finish, she asks for our booking confirmation number which I give and after waiting for a moment she replies that she can’t give out any information. I became confused because its not like I was requesting personal or inappropriate information. So I reply asking what it is we were supposed to do, because we have no where to sleep if we can’t check in, to which I am met with complete dead silence from her, I can hear background noise from the speaker so I know there wasn't a disconnect or hold. I wait for a few minutes, just incase she was looking something up or asking for clarification from another staff, but after a few minutes I speak up again. She reply’s this time with “hello, am I being heard” to which I reply “yes, I can hear” and then she follows up with “what can I help you with?” I was quite shocked to be honest because I had just explained the situation and had even ended it with a question. I re-summarize what I had said, and then ask if she knows anything we could do, to which I was met with silence again. Im not sure what was happening or why the communication was so lacking but after waiting a few more minutes I hung up the phone because the conversation was redundant and going absolutely nowhere. At this point we had been waiting thirty minutes and the others standing outside had started to leave. Me and my husband at this point, very frustrated and at a loss of what to do decided to head out as well and figure out the solution of where we were going to be sleeping that night. Im not quite sure what the situation was or why the conversation I had on the call was so uninformative, but my best guess is that their website says they close at 8pm, but nowhere could I find that the check in closes at that time as well. All I found was check in is anytime after 3pm. If I did miss something and check in is indeed from 3-8pm, then why did the website let me file a booking same day at 8:30 pm? When they were supposedly already closed. Im hoping that I will be able to qualify for a refund, and Im not just marked as a “no-show” even though the time I booked had already passed that window. It just seems like a poor lack of communication and service and I hope to never come across a situation such as this one again because it was incredibly stressful and degrading. This review is meant to be a reflection of my experience, perhaps others have had better, but I will say that if I ever come back I will not be considering this hotel as an option in any way.

If I could give this experience zero stars, I would. My stay at this OYO property was a complete disaster characterized by systemic negligence and incompetence. The nightmare began with an unauthorized double charge of $300, and despite my repeated attempts to reach their customer support, I was met with total radio silence—the only way I was able to secure a refund was by creating a viral post on X. Beyond the financial malpractice, the service is truly the worst I have encountered in the U.S.; housekeeping is essentially nonexistent unless you actively nag them, and they refuse to clean rooms on weekends when most guests are actually in residence. Save yourself the stress and the headache—spend the extra $40–$50 to book a reputable hotel in the area where your money and your peace of mind will be respected.
