In the middle of the REAL Seattle. Cheap, room was nice and clean, no bed bugs, clean bathroom and towels. We got a room on the first floor and it was not quiet, personally didn’t bother us since my friend and I were only staying the night because we needed somewhere to crash after partying in Cap Hill which coming down the hill was a pretty walkable distance. We had a small space heater that was greatly appreciated. TV is not a smart tv but we had wifi, ice, coffee and some stuff to grab for breakfast. Very nice. My only complaint is about the reception. The staff working at night and in the morning were very nice and attentive, but the person who checked us in was somewhat rude. I understand they may be fed up with certain people in the area, but as tourists, it made us feel a little uncomfortable. Luckily, there weren’t any problems and we were checked in pretty fast with our last minute reservation through a third party app - I must say this is the only way I recommend reserving here, otherwise they were charging $115 a night and for that price you better go ahead and pay just a bit more to get an actual hotel versus a motel room. For $72 it was solid though. We were asked for a deposit, I don’t know if this is standard for everyone or if they took us for homeless people and wanted to be sure we didn’t destroy the room. The cleaning team really doing their job!

The young lady at the counter was really friendly and really tried to be helpful. It was convenient to the Space Needle and market. This is the only 2 positives. This is not your normal Baymont by Windham Motel. There is a sign out front that says Kings Inn and it's definitely more of a Kings Inn if that. I booked our room weeks in advance. Our flight was laid over so I called to tell them we were going to be late, but we were coming. When we got there I was told my 1st night had been refunded because I had called (although I hadn't asked for a refund. I just wanted them to know we were coming so they wouldn't give our room away). We never received the refund. It then seemed like I was treated like someone who had just walked in off the street and not someone that had booked weeks in advance. I was told they had been busy lately so she would have to put us on the third floor. This would have been fine, but they had no elevator and we had luggage for 2 people for a 9 day trip. When we got up to our room the toilet was literally full of crap. We flushed it 3 times and it was still nasty. They did promptly move our room, but the 2nd room didn't have all the blinds. We were so tired from being laid over at the airport all night and they had told us they refunded a night (which we didn't receive) That we decided to cover the window without blinds and lay down and get some rest. When we woke up we realized the blinds that it did have were out of fabric that was fairly see through. We had to either keep the lights out or our clothes on for fear of the tall apartments next to the building or other rooms being able to see us. The blinds also didn't work well. Parts of the floor tried to come up with our feet when we walked on it. I can not speak for the rooms on the other floors. It was not a good experience.

Location and value is great. If you are here for a night you can’t really beat the price. Staff were very friendly, and the rooms had the basics of what you need. The mattress DESPERATELY needs replaced though. It was thin and we could feel the springs. It lopped to one side as well. There is also no outlet in the bathroom which made it hard to use my hair dryer and electric toothbrush. Rooms were clean and linens smelled fresh. Not great soundproofing.

If you don’t mind dirty sheets and no outlets in the bathroom, this is your place. You can hear the traffic outside. It’s like an old 70’s motel that has a flat screen TV and a modern bathroom mirror. The shower leaves a lot to be desired, not dirty, but nothing matches.. different tiles, different knobs, lots of caulk. I wouldn’t stay here again. For $180/night you can do better.

I had a pleasant stay at The Dylan, a Baymont by Wyndham. From check-in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Both the night staff and the morning staff patiently answered my questions and helped me find nearby ferry tours. Breakfast is included, with simple options like fruit, bottled water, and energy bars available during breakfast hours, and hot coffee available throughout the day. While basic, it was enough to satisfy my hunger before heading out to find a coffee shop. For the price, the location is great, and the area felt quite safe. Housekeeping is also available even if you don’t request it. The only downsides are that the bedrooms do not have air conditioning, rooms facing the back alley may be woken up early in the morning by a garbage truck (lasting about 5–10 minutes), and some of the facilities feel a bit dated. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
