Larry From Wisconsin 2 months agoA little pricey for me but my daughter had reserved there so the rest of us reserved there to. Check in confused. She used my credit card on my brother's room so she used his card on mine but left the room in our names. I got charged for both rooms and needed a partial refund. Elevator made a horrible sound and shaking. Nice room with separate sitting and bed areas. No door between but otherwise separated by the bathroom and closet. Nice clean, soft bedding. My room faced the front of the building and was very quiet. My brother's room faced the Interstate in the back and he complained of loud traffic noise. The door card kept failing. During a four day stay I needed to go to the desk at least six times for a new door card. Good free breakfast. My brother enjoyed the waffle machine. Me the bagel toaster and cream cheese. Scrambled eggs and alternating days sausage or bacon. Little outdoor pool and hot tub. They looked clean. Dog friendly and grassy walking area. Walk next door for Japanese steakhouse or Red Robin. I was disappointed that the shuttle van only goes to the Mesa regional airport not Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport. There is a rental car turn in office in the hotel but no shuttle to Sky Harbor. A pleasant stay but I will insist the family stays at the hotel next door next time.
Patricia Pinkus a month agoVisiting relatives staying there. Room seemed nice and comfortable. Toured the place. Nice pool. Nice area for breakfast. Gym had nice equipment but both treadmills and the elliptical were out of order! Only left the recumbent bike and free weights. Not acceptable. People seemed nice. Lobby nice.
Jo Miller 4 months agoLots of restaurants around. It's back behind a bar and was a little sketch, but overall I felt safe. Rooms are dated but the bed was comfy the water was hot and the ac worked so all is well. It could use new carpet and furniture. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff was great, just needs an update. Freeway is also nearby but the ac noise seemed to cover it and I didn't mind that, but some would.
Pablo D. 2 months agoCame for a soccer showcase and tbh is the classic hotel that has everything you ask for. Pool was good and hot tub amazing, helps a lot even though sometimes was a little crowded (understandable as hotel was full). Breakfast area was renovated and had plenty of options, very good there. Rest of the hotel is quite old, but it is pretty well maintained to be fair. Bathroom needs a little touch up, but beds were comfortable and ac works great. Just room service every 3 nights seems a little unreasonable to be honest, rest very good!
Julia Listello 5 months agoMy husband and I flew into Phoenix/Mesa late last night for business and stayed one night at the Country Inn & Suites. The hotel is ~ 5 miles from the airport and we were so thankful there was a shuttle! The driver was prompt and nice and didn't talk much (really nice at midnight! LOL) The Front Desk was pleasant and chatty and checked us right in (she was a bit too chatty for me, but it was late and I was tired). The room on the 3rd floor was nice enough, but the bed felt lumpy and the pillows were the smallest, little squares ever. The toilet had a lean to the left and there was a death step getting into and out of the shower (watch out!). Ww did have a handicap room (which is fine), but that step out is dangerous - the tub is much higher than the floor. The shower curtain is on its last leg and looks like someone fell getting out of the tub and hung on for dear life! The shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers threw me and I spent way too long trying to figure them out (you PUSH the front, BTW 🙄). There are some other cosmetic issues, but some nice amenities (there's a night light on the hair dryer holder so you don't have to leave the bathroom light on.... that's convenient). Breakfast was standard, but tasty, and there was a nice variety of items. All in all, it was a pretty nice place to stay All in all, it was a nice room
