Quality Inn Long Beach - Signal Hill

First time guests. We cruised with Carnival and needed a place to stay that was conveniently located near the port. This was the place! It's less than 10 minutes from the port, and only cost $10 per person or $20 round trip. The hotel itself offers free breakfast (although we did not have it). There is an outdoor pool on the premises. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. We had a ground floor room which is what you want if you have heavy luggage or several bags. There is no elevator. There's plenty of parking. The staff was courteous. We will definitely stay here again when we cruise out of Long Beach.

I would’ve given all five star review. I thought that the rooms were nice and a good repair. I stayed several nights and then even extended my stay where they charge me two separate deposits on the on the two rooms I booked and then when I checked out, everything was fine come five days later when I don’t get my deposit back, they said that my room was damaged the floors and towels and linens in the beds, which was not the truth so I guess this motel deserves a one star rating for their thievery I will never be staying there again and I do not advise anybody else to do so either.

The rooms are spacious, & clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.. Check in process was easy. Shout-out to Josiah for making me laugh when I was looking for some water for my water bottle. He was awesome. Overall we had a nice stay. Thank you.

The rooms are really great for the price the bed is comfortable the bathroom is really nice. The only downside is before we checked in we asked the front desk what time the pool closes and they told us then we continued to pay the deposit and check in and we got dressed for the pool, only to walk up to it and see that it was closed. We then went to the front desk and were told they forgot it was closed for the day. We weren't able to get a refund either. Very disappointing experience.

This was a short stopover in the Signal Hill section of Long Beach. Off the PCH, the hotel is near LGB airport and not far from the cruise port. In fact, many of the guests appeared to be cruisers. It's more hotel than hotel with doors tha open to the parking lot. The rooms are behind a strip mall so they were not the most attractive. Breakfast was ok. The coffee was not the best. They did have hot and cold options but the layout of the room was chaotic. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The pool and hot tub were closed despite the front desk telling us that they were open. When we called, no one was willing or able to help.
