Signs and appearance of bed bug infestation on mattress. Dirty room. Hair on sheet and pillows. When reported they initially refused to return my money saying they had to confirm if it was bes bugs first. Poor customer service from woman at the front desk. She did apologize and refund full price after I refused to stay, took photos, and said I would dispute it with my bank. Unfortunately by then she already made a bad impression by arguing with me. Terrible downtown location. Only good thing is there is gated parking with a keyed entry. I would not recommend.

I loved my stay! My boyfriend came from out of town so this was our first stay together. The room was so cute and organized when we arrived, no bad smells, everything was clean, and staff at the front desk was so nice. The only thing is I wish they would clean your room without you having to ask. My boyfriend and I cleaned and organized all of our stuff for our beds to be made and towels restocked but we came back to the room the same. I had to go down and ask for them, which wasn't a problem. The area isn't horrible, but there are homeless people, they don't bother you though. The beds are very comfy and the TV is okay. Fridge is also nice and microwave worked well. Thank you motel 6, I am sure I will be back! :) Maybe with a discounted stay? ( Just kidding haha)

I've stayed at quite a few motel 6s and honestly this one hands down has to be the best one. I am in town visiting my best friend and for a WWE Event at Golden Center 1 and this place couldn't have been more perfect. This was my first time staying at this motel 6 and I believe that they went through a remodel recently, I only say that because there are old pictures of this place online. Everything about the room was great, but the best part for me was the decent shower head and water pressure because although I've stayed at other good Motel 6s the shower usually sucks, not this place. I also like that it was secure and you had to have a key to get into the gate to access any of the rooms. I felt safe here. The location is close walking distance to the Capitol building Museum, golden center 1, and many popular downtown Sacramento areas. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms, quiet property, and great TV channels! Property is extremely clean and organized! Bathrooms have nice decor, not your plain white crap and staff was extremely attentive, alert, caring, and respectful Would definitely recommend this Motel 6! Nice and clean microwave and refrigerator as well!

The room itself was clean and the appliances were in working order, however, there is an absolutely ridiculous sound coming from the pipes regularly in room 225. I refuse to believe management is unaware of this noise, and it must be something really quirky to fix, because there's no way this would be considered acceptable unless they would have to tear the building down or something. The male front desk staff member had an hint of rudeness to his tone and seemed unable, or unwilling, to read the room. Some guests arrive tired and would like a quick check in, repeating to me what is on a piece of paper I already read and handed to you is not necessary. My room's door beeped on the way out on the first morning of a four night stay, and I wound up having to return to the office to get the card rekeyed. 😒 Had to have it rekeyed the 2nd day as well, front desk staff said it would continue happening if I "keep the card with my phone." I didn't, my phone wasn't even on me, and I don't have a phone that interferes with mag stripes anyway - so the default script here sounded real bad. The camera outside the room, to the right, very likely has a view of the bed near the window when the door is open, be aware of that. 😒 The housekeeping staff, I will say, were all polite in the brief interactions I had with them, and they were kind to both myself and my dog when we passed by. Be advised, the video in this review needs a volume warning.
