I recently stayed at this hotel for several days and can honestly say it was one of the most genuinely welcoming and memorable hotel experiences I have ever had. I travel frequently and have stayed in many highly rated hotels around the world, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Every member of staff I encountered was warm, professional, patient, and genuinely kind. From the moment I arrived, I felt looked after and completely at ease. The hotel itself is in an excellent location for exploring Washington DC, and while there may be newer or more luxurious hotels in the city, very few could match the level of service and care provided here. The staff consistently went above and beyond to help with recommendations, directions, questions, and anything else needed during the stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A special mention must go to Mikiyah, Zeira, and Manny, who were absolutely exceptional throughout my visit. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made a lasting impression and turned what could have been an ordinary hotel stay into something truly special. What stood out most was how personal the service felt. Simple things like being greeted warmly each day and staff taking the time to make sure guests were comfortable created an atmosphere that felt far more welcoming than many luxury hotels I have stayed in. If you value genuine hospitality, caring staff, and a hotel that makes you feel truly welcome, I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. I am incredibly grateful for the experience and would happily return.

This is a great hotel. I stayed here over the weekend and my travel was delayed because of a storm back home, the hotel was very accommodating. They helped me extend my booking without issues. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner, there is a minibar and your own fridge in the room. Within a 20 minute walk to the National Mall and well placed in the downtown area making it accessible to most attractions by foot in DC. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Hamilton Hotel for a last minute night out back in December and really enjoyed the stay overall. The hotel itself is very nice, in a great location, and easy to get in and out of whether you’re exploring DC or just staying local for the evening. Staff were welcoming and friendly from check in through check out, which always makes a difference. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. I’d give the beds about a 3.5/5 for comfort, but still definitely good enough for a solid night’s sleep. The one thing that was both very nice and a little odd was the bathroom layout. The bathroom door only opened about 60% of the way before hitting the toilet, which was a bit awkward. That said, the bathroom also had an AMAZING view of the city, which honestly made up for it. Overall, really enjoyed the stay and definitely planning on coming back again soon.

From the moment we made our reservation to the moment we checked out, the service at the Hamilton Hotel was absolutely outstanding. Before we even arrived, we needed to add an additional adult to our reservation. The process was seamless, quick, and completely hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and checked in efficiently—and even earlier than expected, which was a wonderful surprise. The hospitality truly stood out. The bellman went above and beyond by helping my mother-in-law with directions to the White House. Not only did he provide a map, but he also carefully explained how to navigate the nearby construction, making it much easier for her to explore the city. Once we settled into our room, we requested an extra bathrobe and additional towels for our son so he could enjoy the same luxurious amenities. Both were delivered almost immediately. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and linens were top-notch, making for some of the best sleep we've had while traveling. The location couldn't have been better—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Washington, DC. On our final day, the hotel graciously held our luggage for the entire day after checkout, allowing us to enjoy the city without having to drag bags around. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic stay. Every interaction we had with the staff was positive. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. Amazing staff, beautiful accommodations, and exceptional service from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again. 1000/10!

Great location and the front desk staff are friendly, but the hotel’s facilities and service are surprisingly poor. This is a 300 room hotel, yet when I asked for a kettle, I was told I needed to go downstairs and pay a $50 deposit. I have never stayed anywhere that required a deposit for a kettle. To make matters worse, the coffee machine in my room was not working either. When I went to the front desk at 10:30 pm, they told me they had run out of kettles because the hotel only has 10 in total. Their solution was to microwave water, but they did not even have microwave safe mugs available. It is completely reasonable for guests to want hot water for tea or baby formula, so this felt badly managed. There was also no room service at 10:30 pm, which is disappointing for a hotel that appears to cater to business travelers. If you arrive late and want something to eat, you may be out of luck. The WiFi was also slow and unstable, which makes this even less suitable for a business trip. Overall, while the location is good and the staff are polite, the hotel falls short on basic amenities and convenience. I would not recommend it for business travel.
