We travelled to Hawaii for our wedding with a large group of family and friends and we were really impressed with the fantastic facilities and services at Alohilani. We had the Diamond Head view room and it was such a beautiful view to wake up to everyday. The hotel also upgraded us to the longboard club which provided a great buffet breakfast and really great service. The location is outstanding and the facilities throughout the hotel are top tier. The fitness centre is one of the best ive ever seen in a hotel and the added benefit of fitness classes every day was a great perk and fun for our large group. The hotel bar and pool is also really beautiful and our guests had great feedback on the food served there. I have travelled to Hawaii multiple times and I would absolutely stay at Alohilani again upon my return!

Great location! Stunning view in the oceanfront rooms. Room size was pretty good, however bathroom quite small. Street noise is very loud which was a let down, could hear cars racing all through the night. For a 5 star hotel you’d think it would be more sound proof. I would say 5 stars for the view & the staff are very kind. Breakfast is also delicious, highly recommend the burrito & açai bowl. Nice rooftop pool area. Beach towel rental available downstairs. Would stay again!

Absolutely loved my stay at 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. The property feels very modern luxury and is perfectly located right across from Waikiki Beach, making it super convenient while still feeling relaxing and upscale. The staff was amazing throughout the stay, the food at the restaurant on site was really good, and the overall atmosphere was beautiful. The ocean views and large balconies were definitely standout features, especially for relaxing in the morning or at sunset. The pool area was also great and had such a fun resort vibe, and I loved that they had live music on certain nights which made the experience feel even more special. Everything also felt extremely clean, updated, and well maintained. Overall, such a great stay and I would absolutely come back the next time I’m in Honolulu.

We had a great stay at Alohalani Waikiki. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has awesome amenities. You really can’t beat the location - it’s right in the middle of everything, close to the beach, food, and shopping. Huge shout-out to Jasmine at the front desk for her amazing service. She was super friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. She really made us feel welcome and set the tone for a great stay. Overall, a great hotel in a perfect spot. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a full beach view from our room which was pretty great, lobby area is nice but the rooms are extremely run down. The size, cleanliness, and state of the room is the worst I have ever seen in a 5-star hotel. Extremely disappointing and really put a damper on our trip. The main door has large gaps and doesn’t actually feel closed adding to the already distant lack of security for guests. The sliding door to the patio does not contain any kind of insulating factor so, in combination with the single pane glass, meant you can hear everything. We could hear talking on the main avenue despite us being on the 16th floor. The bathroom was so small it’s difficult to use, but there is at least a bidet. Some examples of what we saw include: stains on the carpet, yellow drips oozing from the walls, cracks in the low ceiling, mold growing on the artwork, uncleaned dusty mirror, towels with mysterious stains, grimey shower, cheap bath products (that we had to ask be filled despite the room being serviced), barely functioning coffee maker. The list goes on but overall lacking maintenance. It’s obvious that only the common area amenities had been upgraded in order to achieve the 5-star status and nothing has been done to the rooms in many years. In addition, they still list Morimoto Restaurant on their website with no warning that it is temporarily closed. This is a 2-3 star hotel disguised as a 5-star hotel. The longboard lounge is nice and only redeeming feature. The free breakfast and dinner food is mediocre but not bad, staff in the lounge is very nice and attentive as well. Ultimately, we will never come back here again.
