Overall I wouldn't stay here again. I have $100 worth of charges for "gift shop" that I did not spend. ($20 @ 5 days). This is something you wouldn't see until after check out. Room service was not good, when they finally did answer the phone I ordered a simple "well done" burger and received rare. In my first stay, the water faucet wouldn't stop dripping, and the shower knobs were opposite, meaning hot knob poured cold water, vice versa. No self serve laundry on-site. No microwaves in rooms. Unclear communication with shuttle bus. Battery fob on my door died, had to wait for maintenance to fix, he was so polite and amazing... but front desk didn't offer any apology or anything for the inconvenience it caused me. I didn't feel acknowledged as a diamond member at all throughout the entire stay. The location is great! Most of the front desk staff was nice. The bed was comfortable . But I had more negative experience than positive. I don't recommend.

Me and my family experience at Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn was not good at all. We book our room through Booking.com. When we got here he gets our room immediately, but the thing is the receptionist asked use if we park our car overnight if yes then we have to pay an extra $20 for overnight parking. we booked a room with 2 queen beds, the room was quite neat, clean, without any smell. In the morning on the next day, I went down to the hotel breakfast room. I walked in grab the food then I sat down eating like normal but then someone from the hotel came over and told me that there will be an extra of $22 for breakfast PER PERSON. No one has ever told me about the extra money for breakfast. When they bring out the bill it was a total of $48 dollars there were breakfast fee or something and a South side something for another $15 bucks. So, I think this is ridiculous because I have never been to a hotel that charge for breakfast and parking fee. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here since they charge for every thing.

Everything is an add-on. Parking is an extra 20.00/ night (!!), breakfast is an extra 20.00. I do a great deal of travel for work and this hotel is expensive to begin with before charging even more for basics that most hotels include.... Stains on the sheets were a surprise (I provided the building with pictures rather than sharing them here). No microwave. The room was quiet. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant. The restaurant food was great.

Ardise was so sweet and helpful! We checked in around 3am and she still had a nice demeanor towards us and helped us get everything that we needed taken care of. Amazing customer service. That alone makes me want to come back! Thank you Ardise❤️

My family stayed at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn for four nights, and overall the experience was very disappointing. The bathroom door made loud noises every time it opened, and housekeeping failed to clean our room even after I personally requested full service and towels before leaving for the day. When we returned after midnight, the trash was still there, the beds were not made, and there were no clean towels. I called the front desk several times with no answer and had to go downstairs myself, only to find the clerk having a personal conversation and watching TV. While she apologized, it felt very unprofessional. I was also charged for an $8 bottle of water that we never touched. My husband even said you can buy a 12-pack of water at Walmart for that price. As a Hilton Honors member since 2017 with a Hilton American Express card, I was frustrated by the confusion regarding the “free” water bottles. The hotel also advertised free breakfast, but that was not true. On top of the already expensive room rates, they charge $20 per day just for parking, which felt excessive and unreasonable with all the additional fees. To make matters worse, guests were partying loudly until 3:00 AM the night before our early flight, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and professionalism did not meet the standards I expected from a Hilton property.
