We arrived late at night in the rain. In other words...it was a dark and stormy night. The entryway and lounge of this place feel like it could be the entrance to Disneyland's haunted mansion. Weird artwork, dimly lit, kinda cool. Rooms are a little tight with 2 queens, but are nicely appointed, beds are comfy enough. I would say they are clean, but not spotless. But for the age of the building, they are nicely remodeled. Staff have all been great to work with. Location is within walking distance of the convention center, WW2 museum, French quarter, downtown. Everything seems to be within 15 minutes walking, so ideal in my book. Parking is a bit pricey at about $57/day, but if you expect it, no big deal. Overall, I would stay here again. Actually has a charm to it after a couple of days. Also has been nice and quiet.

Girls trip for 4. We stayed in one of the queen suites. Pros: plenty of space, big bathroom, extra sink and counter in sitting area. Comfortable beds, great shampoo and conditioner. Cute lobby Great price. Cons - no full length mirror and no mirror near the other sink. Would have been nice to have another area for hair/makeup. Overall - we would certainly go back!!

My wife and I have stayed once before and we thought the room was so romantic and perfect for our 2 year anniversary. Fast forward 5 years, I booked a room for our honeymoon. We were beyond blessed to not only get top floor but the view from our room (406) was amazing. Spotless room and a bed that made for a great sleep. The radio on the bedside table with New Orleans jazz softly playing when we walked in was the cherry on top. The staff was extremely friendly and beyond helpful. The gentlemen at the desk when I checked in made the check in and valet process easy as could be. Also, the very kind woman at the front desk for checkout who luckily found two shirts we had left when we left the room. Both staff members were friendly and excelled at providing a truly incredible experience. Made for a stress-free stay at very special place. My wife and I have definitely found our place to stay whenever we are in the city. ⚜️⚜️⚜️

The hotel was extremely overpriced. We booked through Booking.com, where parking was listed as available, but upon check-in, we were told it wasn’t included. We had to pay an additional $150 for parking valet, on top of an already high room rate. The hotel room itself was nice no complaints there. However, the amenities were severely lacking. There’s no restaurant or bar on-site, and if you want alcohol, you’re required to purchase an entire bottle, which is completely impractical. Staff were loud in the hallways during cleaning, which disrupted the peace while sleeping. Room service is only provided every three days, and when we asked for fresh towels, we were told we had to go downstairs to get them ourselves. Overall, the hotel offers very little. You’d get more value and better service at a typical chain hotel. While the staff was friendly, the lack of convenience and amenities makes this place not worth recommending. I personally wouldn’t stay again. The one highlight was the location everything was literally just a block away, which made getting around very easy.

The Pelham is a refreshing change from the large, corporate hotels. It has so much character—from the historic architecture and high ceilings to the beautiful crown molding and boutique decor. Our room felt incredibly cozy and unique, with a comfortable bed and a very clean, upscale bathroom. It feels like a private residence right in the heart of the city. 5 stars for the charm and the wonderful hospitality!
