The Rosevelt Hotel in New Orleans is the only hotel you should consider if exceptional service, room quality and location are a priority to you. I don’t typically write reviews but when you receive service that is next level, I needed to share. I sent an email prior to arrival letting them know it was my anniversary. I received the warmest follow up emails from Crystal D. And Marshall C. I was surprised by the level of detail and caring they exemplified from my email to turn our anniversary into something beyond special. Upon arrival Alexis greeted us at check in with warm congratulations sentiments and provided two glasses of champagne. We get into our room and were upgraded to a suite, finding custom chocolates, a bottle of chilled ice champagne, and some other New Orleans snacks. Best of all was a long hand written note with specific details on our anniversary weekend. An incredible touch! Throughout our stay, staff (thank you Natasha for the texts) checked in to ensure anything we needed was handled. It was done in a custom and caring way, not your standard “let me know if you need anything”, there is a difference and team exemplified it. If you have a special weekend planned or just want a 5 star beautiful hotel with a terrific location look no further than the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans. Thank you again to the entire team for going above and beyond, especially Crystal and Marshall!

Breakfast: In room dining. Eggs way over cooked. English muffin was raw out of the bag. Sausage was ok. No fresh squeezed juice!!!!!! Only Tropicana and it says fresh juice on the menu. The worst in room dining breakfast ever. Lunch: In room dining. Cesar salad with chicken was good but so small! The chicken tenders were OK but they forgot to bring the honey mustard sauce. They automatically add 20% tip. I would say that is OK to do if everything is perfect, which it is not. Not even close. They do not deserve any tip, especially tipping themselves automatically. I will never come back here again. Not worth the money. This place is a disgrace to the name Waldorf Astoria. The rooms are so depressing. dated and dirty. Change the carpets, curtains and wallpaper. Maybe some artwork and some flowers in the room. No food service at the pool. Natalie the server for my room is excellent. She deserves a raise.

My family and I recently stayed at The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria while celebrating my mom’s 65th birthday and my parents’ anniversary, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A special thank you to Crystal Donahue and Marshall Coronado Etienne for going above and beyond to make our celebration unforgettable. Crystal personally coordinated a special amenity delivery and took the time to ensure every detail was perfect for our family. Her warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel truly valued. Marshall, the Director of Guest Services, also reached out personally to thank us for choosing the hotel for such meaningful milestones. That level of care and personal attention is rare and speaks volumes about the culture of hospitality at The Roosevelt. Both Crystal and Marshall have such kind and warm spirits, and they made sure our entire family felt celebrated throughout our stay. Their thoughtful communication and genuine desire to create memorable experiences turned a great trip into an exceptional one. Thank you for helping make my mother’s 65th birthday and my parents’ anniversary so special. We will always remember the kindness shown to our family and look forward to returning to The Roosevelt on our next trip to New Orleans. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back

Bria at Fountain Lounge was amazing! She had such a sweet personality, was very attentive throughout our visit, and gave excellent food recommendations. She recommended the Fried Chicken Monday deal, which was a fantastic choice. It included crispy fried chicken, red beans and rice, and a delicious honey biscuit. We also tried the crab beignets, and they were absolutely delicious—definitely a must-order. Her outstanding service and recommendations made the experience even more enjoyable. Great food and excellent hospitality made for a wonderful dining experience. I look forward to coming back!

Our first night we had dinner at Fountain lounge, our server took forever to come greet us. They weren't busy either. And the whole time, our host was the only one who helped us, my husband wanted to order another drink, server were busy talking to another server/ bartender. The host or maybe a manager, kindly told her about the added drink order. She made it and again went right back to talk. We also had to asked the host for a check at the end of the meal. I asked the host if it's a way for me to tip him instead since he's the only one who helped us. We went back 2 nights after, our server Terriona was amazing. Restored our faith in this place. Everyone else were amazing too. The whole staff team were amazing, quick communication via text is very convenient. Will definitely coming back.
