We had a great stay and will go back next time we're in New Orleans. When we got to our room, it smelled like Mary Jane. I called the front desk and informed them right away. The lady put us in another room immediately. She was a very nice lady. All the staff was nice and polite. The hotel was converted from a Sears store into a hotel. We loved the location and the restaurant and coffee shop. The parking was perfect and wasnt full of cars.

I have mixed feelings about our stay here. On the positive side, I didn’t have any issues with our room—it smelled nice, was tidy, quite clean, and came with complete amenities. The hotel itself has good facilities, including a small gym, an ice machine, and a beautiful lobby. However, there are a few operational things guests should keep in mind. - First, housekeeping is strictly on-request; if you don't explicitly request room cleaning, your room will be skipped entirely. - My biggest complaints are regarding service and sleep disruption. We checked in around midnight, and the service from the front desk lady on the night shift was not warm at all, lacking the basic hospitality you'd expect at this hotel tier—she could definitely use some updated hospitality training. - Additionally, on our very first night, we were woken up by a false hotel alarm at 3:48 AM. We had gone to bed late and had to be up early, so having sleep disrupted by a false alarm was incredibly annoying. It’s a decent property with good amenities, but the service and front desk training need serious improvement.

My overall day was great me and my friend came in for a day trip so we only say one night in the hotel room. I can say the bathroom wasn’t up to par it smelt like urine. There wasn’t a housekeeper around the time we needed the bathroom to be cleaned so the front desk person had to come and tidy up the bathroom. I am assuming he mopped the floor when we came back To our room after a night of fun. The smell of Urine was gone however, the tub had red hair strands in it,I guess from a previous day and the toilet was not thoroughly clean. The location was great however parking was a tight squeeze and kinda eerie. On a budget it’s a great stay, but I don’t think I’ll be staying there again. Overall, the room was fine for the budget the beds were comfortable!

This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The room was absolutely disgusting. There wasn’t just a strand or two of hair in the bathroom — there were actual wads of hair stuck to the shower wall, which made it obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. To make things worse, the bed frame still had sticky residue from what appeared to be a spilled drink that had never been wiped up. The entire room felt dirty and poorly maintained. The noise and lack of hotel management made the stay even worse. There was a group of young women staying in nearby rooms who would come back around 2 AM yelling, screaming, laughing, and running between rooms while letting the doors slam over and over. One night it escalated into a loud fight with nonstop yelling and screaming that continued until almost 5 AM. The most frustrating part was that the hotel did absolutely nothing about it. There was no effort to control the disturbance or address the situation, despite it going on for hours. Getting any sleep was impossible. For the price paid, this stay was completely unacceptable. Between the filthy room, constant noise, and lack of management response, I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean or peaceful place to stay.

This hotel is simply not a nice place to stay. While the location is convenient to the Quarter and other areas, that is about the only positive. The room we occupied had no windows except those facing the interior hallway. It was entirely gray, with zero decor. The tub had not been cleaned, the floor was gritty, and the coffee maker was filthy. The service was simply non-existent. Example, during our 4 night stay, I called to ask for housekeeping to provide fresh towels and take out the garbage. I was told, "We don't do that any more. Its not like the old days". Another example. We put some food in the small refrigerator. Next morning we realized that it was unplugged. Keep in mind this refrigerator was tucked into a little space. After we through out our food, we pulled out the refrigerator to reach behind it and plug it in. Good thing we're agile and strong. Simply a big disappointment. Especially for over $200/night.
