Great staff and friendly service from start to finish! Clean rooms and great amenities. Only complaint would be that there was no shampoo in the dispenser, the sink was slow draining but we let the front desk know on our way to dinner and it was fixed before we got back 2 hours later! We were in walking distance to the hospital I was going to be at the next day, less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. The parking was well lit and felt very safe. We would highly recommend the Aloft to our friends and family! Thanks Aloft for a great experience,see you next time we are in town, TnT

I was thoroughly impressed with Aloft Country Club Plaza hotel! Staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, and accommodating. Hotel was clean and fun. I loved all the common places. I was absolutely THRILLED with the security. You have to use your room key card to enter and exit the parking area, enter the hotel in general, and even for use with the elevator. The parking garage elevator had a secure and locked enclosed foyer to wait safely until the elevator arrived. I would definitely stay here again and will certainly look for other Alofts elsewhere. If I could change just one thing it would be to offer a breakfast of some kind. It wouldn't even have to be a full on hot breakfast, but just having a little complimentary something with my coffee in the morning would have really topped off my experience. Overall it was one of the best hotel experiences for me.

Very nice modern hotel, must've been recently renovated. Room was spacious and had a cool design, steamer was wonderful as I hate ironing and could fix my clothes without removing them from the hanger. I am deducting 1 star due to unexpected extra door in my room, leading to the room next door. The acoustics was very poor and I could hear some girls laughing during the night. On the last day I got my revenge by alarm clock ringing at 2:30am, so I guess they can complain about this too ;) My reservation website showed that the breakfast is included, while it's not offered by this hotel at all. In addition, it was a business trip so we needed the receipts. We requested them to be printed but front office tried to convince us it will be better not to (?). I got mine via email within 30mins after checkout, but my colleague didn't - we left the hotel over a week ago and she still did not get her receipts. She's calling them everyday, hanging on hold for over 20mins each time, the representatives need weird details (like ZIP code - we are not US citizens), and they promise the receipt will be provided within 2 hours everyday, but it's been over a week and still nothing. Shame on you Aloft, we also stayed in 3 different Hiltons during our trip and they have no problem with the receipts both printed and emailed :)

I wanted to give an amazing review for the experience at what ended up sort of the first pick randomly on Google for my short stay in Kansas City. Unfortunately, I was here for a celebration of life for a person that left us too soon…so the trip was heavy. Wayne at the bar was absolutely amazing… very patient with a very lively group that was visiting… Lol. I see you Wayne! They have a pool table that was a great reason to laugh and celebrate the person that we had to say goodbye to. Later I found out that the aloft side is only three years old… The rooms were very modern and a bit confusing with all of the numbers on the shades for the window? And I work with engineers that design printed circuit boards, so that was a little weird to have one on the wall. But I love weird! Anyway, the staff was super friendly and amazing. Tanisha hooked me up with a late checkout at 4 PM! I understand that this isn’t always a possibility depending on hotel capacity and what they have lined up… But she was just so nice and sweet and it helped me kill a lot of time before my evening flight and get some much-needed rest. If I get to return to Kansas City, this will absolutely be where I stay… I loved every part of it. You are debating staying here just locking in!! oh and they have a steamer to get all those wrinkles out… Hell, yeah!

Jaylyn, Bridget, Ralph and Kenny truly made my stay feel like home. It means a lot when an entire staff takes pride in delivering exceptional service with genuine friendliness. Their warm smiles and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. I will definitely be recommending that my company continue booking with this wonderful establishment.
