I stayed at Argosy Casino & Hotel for a weekend getaway and was pleasantly surprised by how convenient everything was. After checking in, I spent some time at the casino before heading back to my room, which was clean, comfortable, and much quieter than I expected. The staff I interacted with throughout my stay were friendly and helpful, especially when I had questions about dining options on the property. I also appreciated not having to leave the hotel to find entertainment or a good meal. Overall, it made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

I recently spent a night at Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, making it easy to unwind after a busy day. I enjoyed having everything in one place, from dining options to entertainment, which made the stay very convenient. The staff were courteous and helpful whenever I had questions, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a relaxing stay, and I would definitely consider returning on a future trip.

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. We booked a two-night stay through Expedia and fully paid for both nights. On the morning of checkout, just two hours before we were supposed to leave, security attempted to enter our room and informed us that we had not paid for the second night. This was completely false. After speaking with staff, we were told that someone had supposedly checked us out, which never happened. We found this out hours later and despite this being entirely the hotel’s mistake, we were treated like we had done something wrong and were ultimately escorted out by security. It was embarrassing, stressful, and completely unacceptable. The only resolution offered was a refund for the extra $218 we were incorrectly charged. While that money should have been refunded, it did not make up for the way we were treated or the inconvenience and humiliation we experienced. Management showed little concern for the situation and made no meaningful effort to apologize or make things right. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The customer service was terrible, management was unprofessional, and paying guests were treated with complete disregard. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

My wife and I went to Argosy Casino last night planning a mini weekend getaway. We arrived late, checked into our room, and before we even unpacked, everything went wrong. I took a shower while my wife laid down on the bed. Moments later, she started screaming. There were bed bugs crawling on the bed. I immediately took multiple photos and videos, and I even picked one up with a napkin to show staff. We packed up immediately and went to the front desk to report it. We waited about 15 minutes for a manager to come out. When he finally did, his first words were “Is there a problem?” — no concern or apology. I showed him the photos and videos. He said he’d be right back, disappeared for another 10 minutes, then returned with a clipboard to fill out a report. They offered us another room, but at that point we were completely grossed out and no longer felt comfortable staying. My wife had already been bitten. We were not interested in switching rooms — we just wanted to leave. The manager asked if we wanted them to run our clothes through their dryer. I told him no — we would be throwing everything away because we were not willing to risk bringing bed bugs into our home. He then said security needed to come make a report, which meant another 15-minute wait. While sitting there wasting time, we Googled it and discovered Argosy has a history of bed bug complaints. Despite showing photos, videos, and the actual bug, we were told that “nothing could be done” until maintenance inspected the room. There was no apology, no sense of urgency, no attempt to make things right — just delays and paperwork. Our entire weekend was ruined, and we drove home instead of enjoying the vacation we planned. This was an awful experience, and based on how it was handled, we will never return. I strongly caution anyone considering staying there.

Not a great experience. I was stranded without a key b/c my significant other had left & they wouldn’t let me in the room without my significant other other’s ID, even though he called & spoke to them. Make sure every person’s name is associated with the room so you have access. I’ve never had such unsympathetic customer service.
