We camped here last year on chocolate lovers weekend. We don't mind kids per se, but I almost got hit by kids on bikes flying down the hill not watching where they're going. We came back during the week in June of this year, thinking it might be quieter. It was very quiet, but now the kids have graduated to electric scooters and bikes. One older kid literally made circles around the park ALL DAY every day we were here. Also would like to see some type of cover over the game area. Too hot to play during the day.

Been a lot of stops, through the Ozarks, in MO, OK, & AR & nationwide... This is 1 of the best spots we have visited ever. If you are visiting with family, it is well worth a family vacation, especially if you have never been before... Immense value. Unbeatable service. Clean rooms, cabins, cottages, suites, & campsites/RV sites with multiple sizes/options. Will Definitively Return!

Great place to get away. The staff there is friendly and very helpful. We stayed here for close to 2 months and never any complaints. The staff worked with my wife and I to stay on the property while our camper was in for repairs. The food, especially the pizza, is worth it. They will even deliver it to your camper. Picking is not that bad either for food. The only reason I put the location at a 4 is becuase of the planes flying over. Beyond that the place is quiet and very peaceful. The fishing is fun at the lakes (large ponds to me). Great place to take the kids fishing. We will be coming back here on future trips.

We stayed at Basswood Resort for their Halloween weekend and had an absolutely amazing time! This was our first visit, and we were blown away by how much there was to do for all ages. From arts and crafts to the glow parade and the flashlight lollipop hunt, there was never a dull moment! The playground was spotless and such a hit with the kids. We also enjoyed some great fishing and loved ending the evening watching a movie at the outdoor theater under the stars — such a magical touch! The campground is beautifully maintained, with clean bathrooms and well-kept sites that made our stay even more comfortable. The store and pizza shop also have so much to choose from! Every staff member we met was warm, friendly, and went out of their way to help. Special shoutout to Pat for being so kind and helpful! We can’t recommend Basswood Resort enough for families looking for a fun, relaxing getaway — and the fact that it’s pet-friendly is a huge bonus! We’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed at Basswoods 6 times over the last 6 years.It is my haven on earth.I love the all over experience from seeing the sign. I truly get so excited I am like a child in a candy store when I see that sign.The sign is about a block away than to see the Truman Mother's Quarters ( Red Cabin ) which is one of my favorite cabins.The whole time I am there is the best experience ever.From Laura at the front desk she is a absolutely a sweetheart. I truly love her. To Michelle I am not yet got to get to know her yet but will this summer.To the kitchen staff the the house keeping the house keeping manager is a real kind hearted person.To the grounds the up keep of the grounds is AWESOME. All the walking trails and the themed weekend.Basswoodsis a place for all walks of life you can fish the whole time you are at Basswoods or you can relax and do all the fun things like watch the movies under the stars or go swimming or mine for gem stones or do all the fun for the themed weekends. The cabins have different layouts that makes the cabins so much fun to stay in and I just love all the oak wood in the cabins.I have made life long memories at Basswoods and when I come I invite my loves ones to come stay with me or to come for a visit and I also take them all o er and give them tours in the golf cart of the whole property.The fishing is AESOME you can fir sure catch fishes at Basswoods.I can say sooooooo much more about Basswoods.But the best thing is you come and you experience the true experience of Basswoods and you will be hooked for life like me and my family.Laura Saunders (forever a place to come to for me)
