I saw reviews on FB and YouTube that the Downtown Grand was a great place to stay near Fremont so I decided to book a room there this past weekend. I checked in at 7pm on Friday 4/24 and there was a line with about 10 people waiting. The line moved fast and the agent Greg at the front desk was awesome! He was very professional and nice! He also offered me an upgrade after he found out it was my first time there! His nice demeanor was exceptional and he even offered me a parking pass when I forgot to ask for one! I've stayed at countless casinos in LV and his friendly attitude and great service is rare! Wesley was super nice and helpful at checkout also! The check in/check out process was quick and easy! The room in the Gallery Tower was very nice and clean! The view was great and the bed was comfortable! The property was clean and quiet, which is hard to come by on Fremont. The Freedom Beat had great service and delicious food! I really enjoyed staying at the Downtown Grand and it is going to be my new go-to place to stay now near Fremont! I was amazed at how great the Downtown Grand staff and property was! Other casino staffs in Vegas usually treat people like they wandered off from the herd and are quite dismissive and cold but I didnt get that vibe from the Downtown Grand staff! Literally everyone was nice, from hospitality to security! If there was anything that could be improved it is the elevators in the garage, which were down but it is understandable. Elevators go down all the time with my company. It would be more of an issue for visitors with disabilities though. The AC in room 3840 would also turn off randomly. I figured it was on a timer to protect the components and I get it, but it did get annoying when the room would warm up. Overall, the Downtown Grand is amazing for its location and I will be recommending it to friends and family! I will be back soon, thanks for the great stay!

Getting to stay at the Downtown Grand Hotel in Las Vegas has been an amazing experience every time. I’ve stayed here multiple times, and it continues to be one of my go-to spots when I’m in Vegas. One of the best parts of staying here is the valet service — especially Armando. He consistently takes great care of us, is always prompt and on time with our car, and is incredibly friendly and courteous. His professionalism and warm attitude truly stand out and make the experience feel personal. He’s honestly one of the main reasons I’ll keep coming back to the Downtown Grand. Great service like that makes all the difference.

We stayed in the suite from April 30 to May 4 and had a wonderful overall experience. The room itself was amazing—spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. I would have loved to give five stars across the board, but we did run into a plumbing issue during our stay. Unfortunately, it took over four hours for someone to come address it, and it wasn’t resolved until after midnight, which was a bit frustrating. That said, the highlight of our stay was Sarah Wyatt. She is a true professional who made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived. Her warmth and attentiveness really stood out and made a lasting impression. Despite the hiccup, we will definitely be back—largely because of the excellent service we received from her. Jarrett and Lori Riggs

I would like to take this opportunity to give my thoughts on my most recent stay. March 26th thru April 2nd. Overall my stay was very pleasant. I have been staying there for the past 6 or so years in March. The only downside was the restaurant being closed for the majority of my stay. The staff are always great and most know me by name. As always the bartenders are top notch as well as the cocktail girls. Sarah in guest rewards is always amazing and I appreciate everything she does. She is always keeping tabs on us and asking if we need anything. Please make sure you give her a shout out from me. In a nutshell we love the DTG. and hope to see it remain for many years to come. Keep up the great times

This hotel is a really mixed bag. I LOVE the location. The room did not smell of smoke (critically important for me). Staff is friendly. Price is great. We stayed in the newer tower and the room itself was good except for 2 items: 1) The mattress was saggy on one side making it uncomfortable. Unfortunately there were 2 of us so I got the short straw 2) the A/C turned off regularly. I get wanting to save power but it was probably 2-3 times a day and the room would get rather warm before we noticed The elevators to the room were a whole story. 3 elevators and 3 different personalities. Every time I used it I watched at least one person struggle with the keycards. #1 needed a special touch and never worked for me, #3 never turned green but I learned when it stopped being red, it was working, etc.
