We stayed June 10-11.The room was average with a notable exception of the bed that was fluffy and comfortable. How ever the overall experience was over shadowed by the horrible check in experience. My wife and I booked online the all inclusive package from their website how ever the website has a dark pattern that changes your reservation to the Vegas package that comes with just one 26 dollar credit for the length of your stay you then have to share. Upon hearing this we asked if there was anything to be done to get the all inclusive package. The manager at the time who was a woman (only relevant because she never gave her name) flat out refused to help. I asked if I could just do an upcharge to get the all inclusive we wanted. She refused (I later found out that it was possible) after driving 6 hours to get to this hotel and being met with just malace I asked if she could just cancel the room and let us go with out a fee. She said that she could do it, but would not be doing it. Then I asked if she could at least give us one more credit of 26 dollars so that would cover at least one meal for both me and my wife she once again refused to do anything to help meditate the situation. We had to stay in the room one night and then do an early checkout so we would not be giving up the fee. We then paid the same price for a room at the Golden Nugget that was 3X as nice and had a way better experience. I will never book with the plaza in my life.

We had an amazing stay at the Plaza Hotel! The rooms were huge, exceptionally clean, and the service was five-star from the moment we arrived. Our package included our hotel stay, two meals a day, drinks at two bars, and complimentary coffee and tea, which made it an incredible value. The rooftop pool was beautiful, and stepping right out onto Fremont Street was an experience we’ll never forget. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend the Plaza to anyone visiting Las Vegas, and we can’t wait to come back!

All the workers here are so hospitable and kind! The casino was clean as well and wasn't full of smokey haze like other casinos in this area. It wasn't rowdy and made for a nice hotel during a business trip. The workers are all smiles and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are also surprisingly big. Shoutout to Kevin who checked me in super late at night, professional and helpful despite a long line of checkins!

They updated the rooms to a certain point. They still need to work on the bathrooms, but otherwise they are clean and have lots of space. Staff are friendly (especially Gladys in group sales) and I love Fremont Street. Access to the free concerts and so many things on foot makes this ideal. I hate how long it takes to exit one resort and get to the next one on the strip. Fremont is more accessible

I will never stay at the Plaza Hotel & Casino again. Last night was a horrible experience from start to finish. The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, the room itself felt dirty and outdated, and the entire smoking environment throughout the casino made it extremely difficult for me to breathe due to my asthma. At check-in, I dealt with Dwayne and specifically requested a non-smoking room because of my asthma and sensitivity to smoke. Despite that, I was still placed on a smoking floor in a room that reeked of smoke. I was also told I could not switch rooms because of the type of booking I made through a third-party website. When I went to the front desk the next morning to ask about non-smoking room options and explain how difficult it had been for me to breathe, I dealt with Susan at checkout. Unfortunately, instead of empathy or concern, I was met with attitude and a cold “you booked through a third party, so too bad” response. I understand hotel policies are hotel policies, but customer service and basic human decency still matter. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of concern after explaining that I was struggling with asthma symptoms during my stay. It’s shocking to see a property invest so much money into attractions and appearances while completely neglecting the customer experience. If you’re planning to stay on Fremont Street, I would personally recommend looking into places like Golden Nugget Las Vegas or Circa Resort & Casino instead.
