Cynthia 3 weeks agoVery clean room, staff was helpful and friendly. Athena was very friendly and helpful she checked us into our room. Check in was fast didn’t have a long wait. Things our room didn’t have was a mini fridge, coffee maker but they did have a coffee place right down the elevator. Bring your own body wash and shampoo and conditioner the ones in the room were just samples size ( Walgreens is literally next-door to the hotel walking distance. You can buy what you need.) I liked the shower. Bed and pillows are not very comfortable. Needs more outlets to charge devices and in a convenient area. AC is a bit loud but worked well. TV is small and not very many channels, but you’re not really there to watch TV anyways. We drove to Vegas the parking was free, keep your room key to exit the parking garage. Right on Fremont Street and close to Walgreens, food or drinks. We stayed on the 6th floor so the party sounded like it was in our room, didn’t get much sleep not cause of the noise but because I found the bed and pillows, uncomfortable. We would stay here again cause of the good price and how clean the room was.
Do Kl 4 months agoSo the room was decent in the location is good. But that doesn’t cover the reasons for the complaints. 1st- They charge you a resort fee and tell you parking is included when I’m very sure a high percentage of people do not drive here and therefore do not need parking. There are no other amenities to be used on location that would qualify as a resort in taking an extra $36-$40 per night for what? 2nd— They tell you they do wellness checks. if you do not answer the door, even though you have a do not disturb sign on your door they will enter the room. I was asleep in my underwear when security comes knocking on my door and because I didn’t answer right away was ready to enter my room and told me that. I had my do not disturb sign up for two days. So if it was a true wellness check, you could’ve called the room first or called my cell phone, which you have on record to verify that I answer. So that’s BS, and I’m not sure why you’re going into peoples rooms during their stay. I don’t like people meddling in my items. I wasn’t aware of the entry into my hotel room until one night I came in and I noticed some of my things had been moved so that indicated to me they went through my items. 3rd- you are required to pay a security deposit of $50 per night of your stay instead of just one flat security deposit. So when I get to my room, all the lamp shades are broken. This is my first time staying at this hotel, I travel to Vegas about five times a year and stay for a week at a time, I will not be staying at this hotel again.
Alan Liebman 2 weeks agoMy wife and I had not been to the downtown area in years. We want to stay in the area to see the changes from yesteryear to today. My wife booked a one night stay for the "D" hotel. We checked in and to our dismay there weren't any luggage carts to bring our clothes and cooler bags up to the 10 floor. We had to make a couple of trips to do that deed. Entering the room it felt like a meat locker. The thermostat was set at 65 degrees . I understand it's 107 degrees outside but it was like going to an oven to a freezer. Not a big deal but the big deal to me was how loud the AC was. Even raising the thermostat to a comfortable temperature did not help with the noise of the AC. That was a detriment for me to sleep. I didn't sleep well at all. The refrigerator was very tiny . Couldn't fit much in it. The only positive for the room was the shower. Very nice with good water pressure. This experience was a one and done deal for this hotel and touring the downtown area.
Matthew Andrews a month agoThe D casino is a lot of fun. Perfect location on fremont street. The drinks are amazing. The Canada bar is a blast. Go see Jodi she makes the best margaritas. The rooms are ok. Ac is a little loud. But how much are you in your room anyways.
Adam Fitzhenry 4 months agoThe hotel is quite dated and there is smoking throughout all gambling floors. The rooms were a decent size. The location is great if you want direct access to Fremont st. The hotel is associated with the Circa hotel and resort, so you can use their facilities for free. It's a much nicer resort, so we found ourselves using it a lot.
