Walking distance to old town, zoo, aquarium and botanical garden. Excellent breakfast with real crockery and cutlery, fruuit, sausages, egg, yogurt and variety of breads. Rooms very clean, very good service. Fridge and microwave in room. Fast internet. Safe neighborhood, close to bus stop (public transportation in Albuquerque is FREE)

Great inexpensive motel. It's a motel right on central, so your experience may vary, but it felt pretty safe and quiet. Walking distance to el vado and old town. The king sized bed room had a fridge (remember to turn it up per the instructions, I missed this) and a microwave. Maybe a little dingy, but clean and comfortable. Decent continental breakfast

I had an absolutely unacceptable experience checking in at this location around 6:45pm on June 6, 2026. The man working the front desk was incredibly rude, condescending, and dismissive, rolling his eyes at everything I said and speaking to me as if I were beneath him. His behavior felt completely discriminatory. He initially tried to force me into an upstairs room, entirely ignoring the fact that I am traveling with my disabled child. When I confronted him, his excuse was that the people who got the downstairs room had booked earlier, and that I had "just booked mine." This was completely untrue, as I had booked my room over an hour prior and equally deserved a clean, accessible room. Once I told him I would be leaving a review about this treatment, his story magically changed and he suddenly offered me a downstairs room. However, the room he gave me was disgusting. The floor was filthy, and the bathtub was in an even worse, unwashed condition and the room smelled horrible. The front desk staff's hostile attitude, dishonesty, and complete lack of standard cleanliness made this a horrible stay. Management needs to investigate this employee immediately. He told me that he did not care if I left a review so I decided to leave one, Do not stay here.

Stayed here a week, 4/7-14; place was great at an amazing rate. Room was clean and everything worked. All the employees were polite, helpful and professional. Breakfast here is outstanding, with plenty of hot/cold options, juice, yogurt eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits/gravy and good coffee as well. Decent location with plenty of parking. We'll stay here again when we visit Albuquerque.

Super impressed with this Econo Lodge! It was a stop on our road trip; we stayed on a Monday night. The price was great. Room was clean and spacious. The indoor pool was open and looked nice. Outside there are designated smoking and pet relief areas that appear well maintained. The hot free breakfast was the best we had at a hotel during this trip. Actually, well stocked with decent options. The location is walking distance to fast food and a Mexican restaurant. Vending machine worked. The block is a little sketchy but nothing that bothered us really.
