Nathan Blaylock 6 months agoIn short, this was a disappointing stay: The cost of the rooms is high not worth the stay. While they do have a Kureg in your room, there is no coffee, tea, or hot water available in the lobby 24/7. This was surprising to us, it’s usually available in decent hotels. We went for breakfast and were told we could order whatever we liked and it would be comped; the following day we found out the we were still charged for the breakfast. Breakfast itself is ridiculously expensive; if you pay the ten additional dollars for breakfast each day then you get a choice of like 2 things that are “credited” to you from to the $10 up charge. It cost $77 for 4 of us to get a mediocre omelet with a side of like ten potato squares. It’s by the highway, so be prepared and bring some earplugs. Also be prepared to turn the water on to your shower about 20 minutes before, if you want a warm shower. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice enough. The pros: the bar is chill and the bartender is also super chill. There is an Italian restaurant within 30 seconds of walking that seems expensive at first, but the portion sizes feed you for like 3 days. Our work trucks didn’t get broke into. Final thoughts: This is, by far, the worst Hilton I’ve stayed at as far as amenities go.
Monico Candelaria 5 months agoWe paid for a suite - but were given a standard king room. We’d stayed at this hotel once before and really enjoyed it, so we figured it would be our regular spot in ABQ when visiting family — pet friendly, convenient location, and close to shops and restaurants. This time, though, I arrived to find the upgraded room I’d paid for had been reassigned “somehow,” despite my early booking. The front desk told me to follow up with the third-party site I used. Fair enough, but still frustrating. We were put in a smaller room right by the highway, and the traffic noise was awful. They even had a white-noise speaker in the room to mask it, but even at full volume I could still hear cars all night. Staff were pleasant and the property was clean; the elevator looks sketchy, but the lobby is nice and parking is easy. I reached out to the booking site, which was excellent and contacted the hotel for me. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund the price difference for the upgrade we never received. Disappointing. We had liked staying here, but now we don’t trust we’ll get what we pay for. We’ll be choosing a different hotel next time.
Brian Jones 4 months agoTerrible place. Elevators don't work, the water doesn't get hot. For the price they charge, it should have been at least a little decent. Even the coffee creamer in the room was rotten and expired. DO NOT stay here. Drive farther for your own sanity.
Miguel Reyes 4 months agoWe had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but what truly made the difference was the staff. A special thank you to Rocio G and Vince, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I’d also like to thank all of the PM staff for their friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay every interaction was pleasant and reassuring. It’s clear that this team genuinely cares about guest satisfaction. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable stay.
Kathy 3 months agoWe came what we thought was going to be an overnighter on Mar 9th. But, due to a mishap, it ended up being almost an entire week! Bless the staff's heart(s) in accommodating us to extend it for as long as we needed. Very professional, friendly and even the housekeeping staff were outstanding!!! The hotel is very well kept, floors in the lobby and out the doors. Huge elevators, noisy somewhat but luckily they both worked while we were here (according to other customers one of the elevators enjoys taking time off). We stayed on the 7th floor to avoid the circus acts (people with kids) as they, for whatever reason, believe their rugrats should be allowed to run and scream down the hallways and jump and scream in the rooms!! My 2 dogs were better behaved than most kids with parents who stay in hotels!! We had to call the front desk one morning because sadly they allowed a family with either 2 or 3 children up here and as usual the parents REFUSED to control their kids, allowing them to run and scream down the hallway! Shame on them!!! Should we get the opportunity to pass thru Albuquerque again, we would stay here again.
