TIAC808 2 months agoVery friendly responsive staff. Functional fitness area conveniently in the same space as the laundry so you can multitask. A coffee shop and bus stop nearby as is an Anytime Fitness. I would avoid the Walmart a few blocks away as it acts as if it is on permanent lockdown in a war zone. Gently must note that the area around the hotel, through no fault of its own, is impacted by the drug issues in many cities. S few details: the suite with kitchen is definitely a plus; various patrons were all friendly. The bed was overly soft, not conducive to sleep. For those driving, easy entrance to the nearby highway exchange. One small tip would be to request a room away from the elevator with its sharp pinging sound through the night. Overall, a solid value.
Martha Jacques a month agoThis is an older place with a bit of wear and tear, but the staff was super. Problems were addressed very quickly. (ice maker wouldn't shut off) New ice maker installed. Definately would stay again. Very good value. Quiet and no issues with safety.
Gino Sanchez a month agoOne of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, if not the worst. There’s no proper area to pull up for check-in, and check-in isn’t until 4 PM. There’s no breakfast provided, no water or drinks, and not even ice available in the lobby. The staff gave us a hard time about using the "lobby" restroom. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the room keys barely worked. The back door doesn't even work with the key. Honestly, a Motel 6 would probably offer a better experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and staying elsewhere.
SJ Z 6 months agoMy husband and I came from SFO to ABQ and encountered severe delay for more than 4 hours. That’s to say we arrived at 3 AM in Dec 24th, 2025. What’s worse was I got food poisoning after eating at SFO and was super uncomfortable, nearly unable to talk. The lady at front desk was super welcoming and let us in right after the doorbell rang. She was supportive and clearly without any attitude after being disturbed in the midnight. The whole check in process was easy and didn’t take much time so that I entered quickly and had some rest. The room was clearly not new but considering the price I absolutely have no complaint. We stayed at room 128 and didn’t hear any noise. It was clean, fully equipped with whatever necessary for a few days, no smell that others complained about in the reviews, no bedbug or cockroach mentioned by others. As I was little worried when I saw those reviews. I would come back again next time to New Mexico.
Nikki C 5 months agoThe lady at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. I guess they’re running the hotel like a bar, can’t get in without an ID? I was just there to see my brother who was staying here while he was in town, I was only gonna go up to his room for maybe 10 minutes, if that, and the lady at the front desk was super rude and stopped us at the door saying I couldn’t go up to my brothers room unless I gave her my ID and let her put my name on the room. I’ve never had that happen, even at the 4 and 5 star hotels, they don’t require the hotel guests’ visitors, to have an id and put their name on the room. And then since she was just rude it about it right away, made me even more uncomfortable with giving this lady my ID and letting her take my information…just to see my brother in a room he’s paying them for. And then, after playing their games and giving my ID, after a few minutes, the lady at the desk then calls up to my brothers room and says she’s gonna call the cops because i had my dog in my car. 😑besides the fact i was in the room for a few mins, it isn’t even illegal given the dog has adequate ventilation and it’s not hot outside anyway?? The whole situation was ridiculous and I highly recommend not staying here unless you want to be treated like shit by the front desk. There’s a different sonesta property up the road from this one, right off prospect and Carlisle and it’s waaay anyway 💯💯💯
