Jennifer Yazzie a month agoMy experience at the Clyde Hotel was phenomenal. 🙌 First stepping into the lobby, it felt like I went back in time to the 1920's. Checking in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The garage parking was free with the stay. The pool was heated and had a cool ambiance with blue lighting. The fitness center has a variety of machines. The room we booked was a standard double bed. Our room faced north so we had a nice view of the Sandia Mountain. Across the street is a small park. This hotel is downtown and there are eatery and bars within walking distance. We also had the chance to enjoy a drink and app at the 1922 lounge. Great atmosphere 👌 We definitely had a great time at this hotel. Would definitely stay here again!
Brittany Nelson 4 months agoMy husband and I had just gotten married on February 13, 2026. We were gifted one night at Clyde Hotel. The experience was absolutely amazing. Chantel provided us with excellent customer service. Since we had just gotten married Chantel upgraded our room to the Carrie suite. We were able to view Albuquerque from the 19th floor. The room was so clean and beautiful. We had a great experience and got to celebrate our first night together as husband and wife in this stunning hotel.
Katherine Elizabeth a month agoThe beds here are very comfortable. The staff is so kind. I like the funky decor too. That is the end of my compliments. Because when I book a hotel, k want a warm bed and a nice shower. The shower must have been inspired by the motel 6? The curtain is a stained pale yellow, the pressure is fine but the shower head looks like something you’d see in a barn shower? The hardware is so 2001 coded it’s actually tragic. The toilet feels like some discount mart bulk purchase. It felt so cheap. The towels smell like cheap hotel detergent. The gym equipment was sufficient to do a good workout but the equipment seemed so old? Also, 2 “working” treadmills and only one had functional incline abilities? Ridiculous for a hotel this size to have 1 true treadmill. The popcorn ceilings don’t bother me particularly but they do complete the motel 6 bingo line I was working on. Tiny TVs too.
Brandie Louck a month agoI stayed at 'The Clyde' in Jan of 2025, and I must have been in a renovated room, because it was a nice stay and I was excited to stay there again. I just stayed in June 2026 and ended up in a room that still hasn't been renovated and I swear I've stayed in motels that are nicer. The wallpaper is peeling off, the shower curtain is falling apart, the desk has suspicious stains on it and the overall vibe is 'faded 80s'. I paid $300 a night for a 4 star hotel. This isn't it. Also, I booked a deluxe king and was put into a 2 double bed room, which I can live with, but the overall shabby state of the rooms? They should be ashamed of themselves. It's been more than a year since my last stay...if they haven't renovated all of the rooms by now, I doubt they ever will. The rest of the facilities are lovely (great gym), but unless you can guarantee you're in a renovated room....avoid this hotel. Not worth the money.
Nicholas H. 3 months agoI recently stayed at The Clyde Hotel and overall had a positive experience. The hotel has a unique charm that really stands out, especially with its Art Deco design elements. From the lobby to the rooms, there’s a consistent aesthetic that gives the place character and a bit of a historic feel while still being comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the cleanliness. My room was well-maintained, tidy, and felt fresh upon arrival. Housekeeping did a solid job, and it made it easy to relax and enjoy the stay without any concerns. The general upkeep of the hotel also reflected attention to detail, which I always appreciate when traveling. That said, the main downside during my visit was the elevator situation. There were some issues that caused delays, and at times it was a bit inconvenient getting to and from my room, especially during busier hours. While it wasn’t a dealbreaker, it’s definitely something the hotel could improve to enhance the overall guest experience. Despite that hiccup, I still enjoyed my stay. The atmosphere, combined with the cleanliness and overall comfort, made it a pleasant place to spend a few days. The location is also convenient, which adds to its appeal for anyone visiting the area. In the end, The Clyde Hotel offers a solid stay with a distinctive style. If the elevator issues get resolved, it would easily elevate the experience even further. I would consider staying here again in the future.
