Olaguer Estrada a month agoService and staff 5/5 Breakfast 5/5 Pool 5/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Pull out sofa bed 0/5 We decided to stay here after a fantastic stay at another Embassy suites in Dallas which was 10/5 overall, and we expected the same from the entire chain but was not the case. This is a high volume hotel so I understand keeping each room clean is a challenge but if the staff can’t keep up with the current workload then more should be hired. Tons of room for improvements there. It was unwelcomely dirty/dusty under the restroom sink cabinet which I opened looking for more towels. We booked a room for 4 but only had 3 towels. I found what appeared to be dog hair on the pull out couch, which had a spring on the floor and a ridiculously uncomfortable almost flat mattress. This made the bed unusable for even our kids. Room sleep capacity should be corrected to 4 or 5 if you count the couch as a single bed to lay across. Also a couch spring was laying on the floor. Soap bottle by sin were dirty at the dispenser tip with accumulation from previous use. We found a disgusting brown substance in the sink as well. We have pictures of all this. Staff was friendly throughout and very helpful when needed. Breakfast was great. Pool was awesome. We will probably give another place or 2 a try before returning here, if ever.
iDream Ruiner a month agoUnfortunately, our stay started off terribly. The first rooms we were given were clearly not properly maintained — they were hot, uncomfortable, and once we turned the AC on, it immediately started leaking. For a hotel, that’s something that should have been caught before guests check in. Thankfully, Jaspreet stepped in and helped move us to better rooms, and she was honestly the highlight of the experience. Her professionalism and willingness to help made the situation a little more manageable. However, the issues didn’t stop there. We accidentally left a charger behind in the original room. When we returned, the maintenance worker wasn’t there, but all of his equipment still was — yet somehow the charger had mysteriously disappeared. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The hotel itself also feels outdated and poorly maintained, with old rooms and stained, dirty curtains that made the space feel unclean overall. The only real positive besides Jaspreet’s help was the breakfast. There was a surprisingly good selection, including made-to-order omelets, which I really enjoyed. Overall, between the poor room conditions and missing charger, this stay left a bad impression.
Lydia Braxton a month agoI just wrapped up a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central and I am already planning my return! If you are looking for a spacious, comfortable, and accommodating hotel in Austin, this is it. The Suite Life: The room was immaculate, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. I loved having a separate living area, which made the space feel more like an apartment than a hotel room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and I really appreciated the extra sink and vanity area. Complimentary Perks: The Breakfast: The made-to-order omelet station is spectacular! The staff makes eggs exactly how you like them, and the breakfast buffet spread is huge. Evening Reception: The complimentary evening drinks and snacks were the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. Service & Amenities: The staff here is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. I also took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub, which was well-maintained and relaxing. Location: Situated right off I-35, it’s super convenient to get to downtown (just a short drive), yet tucked away enough to be quiet. Overall: The Embassy Suites Austin Central raises the bar on hotel experiences. It’s clean, comfortable, and provides incredible value. Highly recommended for business travelers, families, or anyone visiting Austin!
Jose Rodriguez 4 weeks agoPerfect spot to take a break, even though I was working hehe. Flower was great, and so was the event planning team (I see you, Courtney!). The rooms are the most impressive I've seen in a while, and the Manager's reception was a great place to socialize. I would definitely recommend this spot!
Emily 2 months agoI didn’t realize I had booked a sensory adventure instead of a hotel stay, but here we are. The experience began the moment we opened the door and were greeted by a mysterious scent, somewhere between “forgotten gym bag” and “abstract art installation.” Not exactly the relaxing ambiance one hopes for after a long day. But the real highlight? The hot water situation. Calling it “unstable” would be generous, it had more mood swings than a reality TV contestant. At one point, there was simply no hot water at all. When we called the front desk, we were informed (very helpfully) that the hotel was fully booked… which, as it turns out, does not magically produce hot water. What followed felt like a live-action maintenance drama: two staff members repeatedly entering and leaving our room while we sat there, exhausted, just hoping to take a shower and go to sleep. They tried to fix the issue multiple times, creating a fascinating plumbing paradox: when the shower worked, the sink didn’t; when the sink worked, the shower gave up on life entirely. Eventually, the staff left… and so did any hope of hot water. For a three-star hotel, this was an impressively chaotic experience. Luckily, we got to enjoy the facilities a bit more in the morning with delicious breakfast and nice spa pool. Overall, it offers reasonable value if you’re not expecting premium amenities or a highly polished experience.
