This was a great hotel experience. The whole place looks new and is very clean. The beds are comfortable and there are tons of pillows of varying firmness. Breakfast is free, so that’s another plus. Jacque R. Worked the front desk during my stay. I wasn’t sure when I would be leaving, so I added one night at a time. She worked to make sure I didn’t have to change rooms, even though it was a new reservation each time. The A/Cs are awesome and the rims are clean, doable and comfortable. My room overlooked a wildlife reserve, and it was so beautiful. Several restaurants and fast food places are within walking distance. HEB and Target are 6 minutes away. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. I’m here weekly for business, and I will definitely stay here every time. Thanks Jacque!

We came to Austin for a funeral and stayed here because it was close to our destination. We had wonderful front desk service from both our check in lady (I am SO sorry I didn’t think to get her name) and our check out person Jacque. They both answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. Our room was great. WHAT A VIEW! But the best part was the amazing breakfast. It was a thousand times better than any other ones in hotel like this. We enjoyed our stay!

Got in late checked in tried to use the elevator that had a note saying push the second floor button hard. It didn’t work. Only one person at the desk was no help finally another guest said hold it down till it beeps. It worked got up to my room put on my PJ put my feet up and discovered the tv controller didn’t work. Called the front desk and asked to have someone come up to fix it. Was told there was only one person in this hotel so I had to bring it down myself. Got redressed went back to the front desk got new batteries only to find the controller still didn’t work so again I went down to the front desk to trade out controllers. Finally it worked. I had had a rough night and was tired. I was not happy to figure this all out myself. I went into the bathroom and only one light worked which was a big problem the next morning trying to put on my makeup. I didn’t bother calling the front desk because they were never helpful and I didn’t want to have to go get a light myself. I took a bath it was slippery. Then I read a email saying the front desk should have given me a rubber mat when I checked in. I didn’t understand why this mat wasn’t already in the room. Then I read further and find out if I need new towels I would have to take all my wet towels down to the front desk in a linen bag first and trade them for new ones. What are you crazy! I’m not doing that! The hotel said not to take bath towels to the pool so I’m thinking they had pool towels at the pool. Nope no towels and no one to stock them. So we went through the hotel and back to our room dripping wet. I don’t know but there was no helpful staff doing anything to make my visit good. I’m so glad I didn’t stay but one night because I will never stay there again and this includes all the families that come to our reunion each year. This hotel runs like bad cheep motel. It will be removed from area hotels to stay in in Austin on our reunion email from now on.

The breakfast is really good but if busy you must be patient. Most all off the food was empty everytime we came down. Not a complaint, we counted everytime and almost 30 people eating. No way one person can keep up. She was sweet and did her best but needed help. The coffee for the hotel was great. Not typical holiday in. Coffee. It rained every day and either the manager or owner parked under the drop off opening making it very hard to load or unload. Not cool. I would have given the facility a 5 instead of 2 but the elevator sucks. The average person cannot even push the button for the second floor. Little sign says push hard. Yea right. Everytime my wife went downstairs she had to use the stairs to get back up. This is 100 percent unexceptionable. I met many preoole no the elevator that could not push the button to get to the second floor. I love the place but will not stay here again until after they fix the elevator. From talking to staff this is a matter of management not willing to pay to get it fixed. Find a different place to stay until fixed. It makes the stay totally miserable.

What a beautiful scenic view we had!! We stayed here for 2 days, on a weekend, and our stay was just fantastic. Rooms were neat and clean. They don't do room service every day but if you want clean towels, just take your dirty towels to the front desk and they will give you clean ones. Kind of annoying but considering other factors no big deal. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. They had cheese and veggie omelets, hot potatoes, pancakes and cinnamon rolls - along with other regular items such as muffins, cereals, bagels, and bread items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
