We stayed at the The Loren hotel for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and we absolutely loved our experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The service across the entire hotel was exceptional. every staff member we encountered was attentive, friendly and professional. The hotel is in a very good location and is absolutely stunning. The modern design of both the property and the rooms is absolutely beautiful. Truly a “Wow !” experience. Our room on the 6th floor had breathtaking views and featured a king size bed, sofa, beautiful long glass desk and really nice chair, to name a few. Very beautiful, large bathroom with a big shower and a soaking tub and luxurious scented bath products provided in the room. In-room coffee machine and nice mini bar was a delight. The rooms are very quiet, we couldn’t hear any noise from outside or from other rooms and once we closed the electronic blackout curtains, the room became completely dark. perfect for a restful sleep. And in the morning, the amazing Lady-Bird river view is revealing from the bed, by clicking a bedside button to open the electric blinds. The rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool area were fantastic. Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding, with an excellent menu, delicious cocktails and a very impressive wine list. We also enjoyed lunch by the pool, which was equally enjoyable. Overall, we did not have a single negative experience during our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to returning in the near future and introducing our kids to this beautiful, fun city and of course this hotel. Oh, and the ART. It’s all about the art that is all in and around the hotel. They acquired a beautiful art collection for their guest to enjoy. Good job! Thank you to the entire team for making our getaway stay so special.

The Loren Hotel Austin is an absolutely stunning place to stay. From the moment you arrive, the level of service is exceptional and every single member of staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. The rooms are beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable and the views are breathtaking. The rooftop bar is a highlight all on its own. If you are looking for a truly special hotel experience in Austin, The Loren is simply in a class of its own.

Wow. I travel often and was pleasantly surprised by the genuine luxury feel of this hotel. Jazz players in the lobby, incredibly knowledgeable front desk, check in/out was very quick/easy. The rooms are beautiful, pristine, and spotless. The beds are fluffy and cozy, and I loved the bathrooms- super roomy and luxurious. The restaurant views were beautiful, but the dishes were small and left a little to be desired. The pool is small but very peaceful and only had a few people at a time. Loved the downstairs coffee shop as well, location is super walkable, right on the Town Lake Trails.

We love The Loren for its location, restaurant, and coffee shop. We hate it because of the street noise. We’re very disappointed in the lack of consideration given to guests with their choice of windows. It is a boutique hotel so they don’t have many floors and the rooms with views are all of the suites. The suites are all on the street side with views, so it’s very hard to escape the noise unless you want a regular room facing valet. The 3rd floor corner suite is all window, the bedroom is shallow so the bed literally feels like you’re sleeping in the street. The best they offer is ear plugs and a white noise machine. I personally can’t use earplugs because they actually make noise louder for me, and they’re just flat out uncomfortable. It really sucks that they decided to use cheap windows for this building. We use to live across the street with the train and it wasn’t this bad. We will get regular rooms moving forward.

I stayed at the Loren Hotel for New Year’s Eve, and overall the experience was extremely disappointing. We paid close to $1,000 for one night and expected a much higher level of service. From arrival to checkout, the staff was consistently inattentive. Valet did not open our car door or offer to help with bags. When we asked a simple question about whether the hotel had a rewards program or if it was just boutique, the front desk staff responded awkwardly and unprofessionally with, “I think they’re doing fireworks tonight or something.” We booked a lake view room for New Year’s Eve fireworks, but the view was obstructed and we couldn’t see the fireworks at all. When we brought it up, we were told nothing could be done. Room service was also uncomfortable the waitress delivered our drinks without saying a word, didn’t offer to set the tray down, and stood silently at the door it was very uncomfortable and bizarre. Checkout was no better, with no assistance offered for bags or at valet. I was really excited to spend New Year’s Eve here, but the lack of basic hospitality ruined the experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend staying here and won’t be returning.
