As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have officiated weddings in many remarkable venues over the years. What struck me about The Pfister Hotel was the sense of history that surrounds every celebration held there. From the moment guests arrived, there was a feeling that they were entering a place that had hosted important occasions for generations. The architecture, grand event spaces, and timeless character of the hotel created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and deeply rooted in Milwaukee's history. As someone who spends a great deal of time observing how a venue shapes a wedding experience, I appreciated that The Pfister offered more than beautiful surroundings. It provided a sense of occasion. The staff was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with throughout the event. Their commitment to hospitality matched the reputation of the property and helped create a seamless experience for everyone involved. I would gladly recommend The Pfister Hotel to any couple looking for a wedding venue that combines historic beauty, exceptional service, and the feeling of celebrating in one of Milwaukee's most iconic landmarks.

The Pfister has been open since 1893, which means it has had a lot of time to figure out how to do this well. Walking into the lobby, you're greeted by Victorian artwork, grand architecture, the sound of live piano, and an overall sense that someone put real thought into making this place feel like an event just to arrive in. When we checked in, a staff member stepped out from behind the desk and offered champagne before asking about our stay, which set the tone for the entire visit. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed in a way that manages to feel historic and functional at the same time. Egyptian cotton sheets, pillowtop beds, and the kind of quiet that makes you sleep well. Dinner at the Mason Street Grill downstairs was a straightforward classic American steakhouse experience, well-executed steak, good sides, solid service. Breakfast at the Cafe was a genuinely nice morning, the Eggs Benedict were properly made, and the Starbucks patisserie nearby in the lobby was a convenient option when we needed coffee before anything else opened. On our second evening we went up to Blu on the 23rd floor for drinks, where there's live music on weekends and views of the downtown Milwaukee skyline and Lake Michigan that are honestly better than you expect. The WELL Spa is excellent if you have time, with a full menu of treatments and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is walkable to the Milwaukee Art Museum, within ten minutes, and the Harley-Davidson Museum is about fifteen minutes on foot. Fiserv Forum is under a mile away. As a home base for Milwaukee, it genuinely covers everything.

We are having a quick overnight stay in a one bedroom suite here at the Pfister and have loved the experience. This hotel is over 100 years old but the rooms have been nicely updated. The ownership group did a really nice job at blending the old school charm of this establishment with modern updates. In any event, this property is definitely the place to stay while visiting Milwaukee which means that we couldn't recommend the Pfister highly enough!

Stayed at the Pfister for 3 nights and it was amazing! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. Room service and housekeeping outstanding. The bar at Blu on the 23rd floor was so much fun and Grace went out of her way to go all the way down to the 1st floor to get nutmeg for my brandy Alexander. I just can say enough about how great this hotel is. Also, the Mason Street Grill which is located at the end of the hotel lobby was so good. We ate there 2 nights in a row ! Great jog Pfister !!!!!

This hotel is Devine! The artwork alone is breathtaking! But the staff, man the staff was way beyond professional, courteous, and delightful. Shout out to Jordan in the restaurant! And major shout out to the Spa (Wells Spa)(?). Joyce, Carla and Lavinia were our nail techs. They did a wonderful job! I forgot the names of our massage therapists, but I got the stone treatment and just melted away all of my tension. Major love to Cierra our makeup specialist! She was perfect in giving me and my bestie great looks for our event! Our view from the 20th floor was awesome with a view of the lake. Thank you all for making my visit a memorable one!
