My daughter rented the Library for a private dinner. The service was lacking, we had a guest go and remind them we had a birthday dinner. We did not have our drinks refreshed. The cake she ordered was not the correct cake. It was just the worst experience! We drove 2 hours to celebrate her special day and would never recommend to anyone for a special dinner event. She was treating her friends and her family to an evening to celebrate life, and everyone left feeling it was just awful. They were sorry for her. She called the next day to apologize and that is why you earned a 1 star review.

One of the restaurants (The Grill) had been on our map for a while, so when it was time to choose a location for our (albeit brief) honeymoon, and after seeing the reviews and ratings through booking platforms online, we chose Hacienda Del Sol. And we could not be more pleased about our time there! We got a "Mountain View" room (absolutely worth it), stayed 2 nights (wish it was longer), enjoyed as much of the property as possible, and we cannot wait to go back! I'll add that we stayed Tue night through Thursday morning in mid-November, which may be why it wasn't super busy (and we loved that part!) We had at least 3 meals at The Grill (couple breakfasts and one dinner) - food (and service) was very very good, we visited the gift shop - expensive, but neat, and we went to the spa for a couples massage - best spa experience to-date! Oh, also had the pool and hot tub closest to our room all to ourselves one night, it was amazing. Beautiful, crisp evening, perfectly warmed hot tub, and an incredible night time view. Almost every aspect of our stay was impressively fantastic! The ONLY thing we weren't thrilled about was the mattress in our room; it was quite firm, so we did not sleep very well the first night, but then adjusted to it and did fine the rest of our stay. Overall, I can't stop telling people about it, and we already miss being there. Hoping to make it a somewhat regular tradition to go back whenever we can (even discussed just going to the restaurant, which is open to the public, every month with spa visits each month in between!)

Incredible experience at Hacienda Del Sol. Very reminiscent of our time spent at Hotel Bel Air. We had a mountain view king that overlooked the Golf course. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. On site food is very good. All pools were great. Only gripe was the gyms equipment was broken. 2 of the 4 treadmills and the weight bench need love. I still got a solid workout with the dumbbells.

You cannot ask for a more spectacular and lovely place to stay! Options galore onsite, multiple pools and jacuzzi, local artists sculptures all over the property. You will see amazing flowers, cactus, and wildlife right as you walk to and from your rooms. The restaurants onsite are delicious, with options for all. You can view sunrises and sunsets from many different viewpoints. Absolutely recommend and would love to return again!

My husband and I just checked out after a two night stay for my birthday and our anniversary. We also had covered a 1 night stay for our family. We had a great time but it did feel like an off season stay. Some things were broken, unfortunately. Also, the family couple we paid for was not made aware that a bottle of wine was left in the fridge and the customer service rep said they weren’t able to give it to us or charge it back to us for reasons that are not clear. I am not sure we will be back.
