My wife and I stayed at The Kennedy Hotel for our anniversary trip last month and absolutely loved it. The hotel is right off I-10 and in an industrial area of Tucson, but it and all the parking is gated and fenced. The rooms have been refurbished and are very clean. The pool area with loungers and cornhole felt like a resort, and the free game room was a fun perk. They also have free breakfast every morning. All the amenities you receive for their very reasonable price is absolutely worth it! The best part of The Kennedy Hotel though is the staff. Every staff member was so kind and friendly, going out of their way to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. We happened to mention that we were in Tucson for our anniversary, and we came back from dinner to find a hand-written card, roses, and a bottle of wine. Just that small gesture made the entire stay worth it. We highly recommend The Kennedy Hotel, and will most definitely stay there again our next time to Tucson!

The property feels like Air B and B hotel hybrid. Old property with a minor face lift. My party checked in shortly after a rain storm and the entrance to our room was flooded with water. I called the front desk and was led to an automated answering service. Not the greatest first impression. Within 5 minutes I got a call back and our entrance was immediately cleaned and clear of water. I felt like the level of professionalism that came from "Junior" outweighed the "cute" property exponentially. Great place for a quick stay on a road trip. Easy on and off the interstate. More businesses need people like Junior.

This place was amazing! It’s so charming. Boutique style hotel. Free arcade game area, heated pool, an outdoor space with a tv to chill. Free breakfast. The rooms were so cute and comfy. I wish I would have booked this place again at the end of our trip. My son even asked if we were spending the night here when we returned back to Tucson before we flew home!

Quaint little motel that gives 70s vibes. Was greeted by a fantastic person Mireya in the cute lobby area. Such a great attitude and so friendly! Rooms were small for having two beds (firm mattresses) which left little walking space and no room for table or chair. Just beds and kitchen space. Kitchen space had full fridge, microwave, and sink along with cabinets—which was a plus. Bathroom was single sink with an armoire for closet. The rooms were clean, although the floor rugs are a hazard. I tripped twice because ours had a turned up corner. The pool area was so cute and the cabanas were adorable great place to just lounge if you’re lucky enough to grab one. The arcade was great as it was free to play. The fitness area was just a few machines but it was better than none at all. There was also a laundry facility. Breakfast “buffet” was a nightmare Saturday morning. It was a full house and we got there at 8. It’s a minimal buffet with pastries , a couple cereals, pancakes, and some hot items like eggs, sausage, etc. The problem wasn’t the food itself, it was the lack of it coming out for all the people waiting. We grabbed the last of a small omelet fold over and split it. Pancakes came out a bit undercooked despite it being an automated machine. We gave up on waiting and went to go get food elsewhere. Note, Sunday the breakfast was plentiful and seemed to be attended to better by staff. Would like to see alternative milks for those w sensitivities. The place is by the interstate in a more industrial area, so be prepared for road noise. Our door clearly had issues as we could see light between the door and the frame. The place could use better painting and attention to details would elevate the atmosphere. All in all, good place for the price.

Cons: no kitchenware, cookware or whatnots when the website stated the room will have them. No cooktop in kitchenette despite of it being kitchenette. 3 palms hotel or woodspring hotel offer cooktop in kitchenette. Only one towel in bathroom. I asked for more they only let me have one extra towel nothing more. Not even a floor mat or wash towel or face towel. Was pretty disappointed with that. Pros: bed is pretty nice. The tv is big which I like. Bathtub in bathroom is little tight for a big lady but very deep though which I’m not complaining. Have breakfast from 5a-10a. Nothing fancy like Hampton or holiday but it has some hot breakfast menu. Dog park is not too shabby.. ugly but it’s fenced though. Free arcade games including the room pay. Nice pool. AC is pretty strong which I like.
