Loved my stay at the Metric. I was in town for an event (I do large scale event planning) I was looking for a hotel near our downtown Los Angeles location that wouldn’t have me fighting traffic. Came upon the Metric, and after reading the reviews, I decided to book. As a woman traveling alone for business safety is paramount & I felt right at home and very comfortable . Make sure you book parking as well, so you’re in their secure lot. Refreshments in the lobby, cool modern vibe, and a comfortable clean room to relax in after a long day. Would totally stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel in January 2026. The property is modern and high-tech. The room I had was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is excellent and easily accessible by public transport. Furthermore, the hotel is situated in a very quiet, peaceful residential area. Breakfast was included, featuring delicious freshly baked pastries. If I ever find myself back in LA, I would gladly stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay enormously. The staff was friendly from the moment of my arrival, and helpful all the way through. My first impression on entering the building was the smell. It was fabulous and stayed fabulous through the whole property! Parking was easy and everything felt very safe. I enjoyed being in a “real” neighborhood. The view of the city skyline from my room was amazing. The room itself was perfectly clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. And, an ironing board was ready for me as requested. The ONLY thing I’d change, and it really was a very small thing, would be the range of tv channels. I will happily stay here on any future trips!

Everything you need, and nothing that you don’t. One of the cleanest, clutter-free hotels I’ve stayed in. Ikea-grade desks and fixtures, but I take that this is a one-off boutique hotel, and not a chain purchasing volumes of the same items. Safe area, just off of a busy thoroughfare. It’s a total dead zone though, nothing really happening in the area. Be prepared to drive or make multiple connections on transit. 20 minute relatively quiet walk downtown.

No frills, no BS hotel with very helpful staff. Very clean, and conveniently located to get everywhere including LAX (25mins), downtown (5 mins drive), Northwest destinations (20-25 mins), and Northeast destinations (20-30 mins). So in sum: great location, great staff, clean and comfortable, at an affordable rate. Highly recommend it.
