Well.. you definitely get what you paid for here, but with the coach roach infestation its not cheap enough for me to go here again. Its nice now close they are to SeaWorld and the beach but other than that I felt constantly worried there'd be bedbugs with the amount of roaches I saw, didnt see any but didnt sleep well cuz of that. Sticky carpet, room was tidy, and you can tell the rooms are old could use some renovations, you get what you pay for, but ive been to even cheaper hotels that were nicer than this. Your paying for the area and to me it not worth it until they take care of there roach problem. Disgusting.

We booked this place as a packaged deal for a birthday trip. Coming from Indiana and a first time visit to California I was pretty excited. Upon arrival to the hotel the staff were very friendly. When entering the room I was surprised to find only a bed, refrigerator (which froze everything) and a small table. As a person who likes to unpack while traveling I was shocked there was not even a small dresser or metal rack to put bags on. The very first night I woke up with an extreme itching spot on my arm. I had looked over the bed upon arrival and saw there was a zippered mattress protector. I even unzipped it and checked for signs of bed bugs. Not finding anything I thought the bite was probably some sort of mosquito. By the 3rd night waking up with a bite mark and finding a roach in the bathroom I was getting more nervous about bedbugs but again didn't see any. When packing to depart the hotel a bug was noticed crawling on a brown paper sack that was in the room. Sure enough it was a bedbugs. I took a picture and killed it l. When checking out the bug was reported to staff. I was given a business card to contact the property manager about the situation. I have sent 2 emails and text messages to the contact information and have received no sort of follow up from anyone. The hot water was also hit or miss during evening showers. Every night of the stay the parking was full so I believe most people were in their room. Must be everyone showered at the same time because water pressure and hot water were not existing after about 5 minutes Would not stay again

This is the first time I’ve ever disagreed with the general consensus when it comes to hotels. Our room was spectacularly clean, and maybe it had to do with booking a different room ($10 difference) we were utterly amazed with how much of a gem this was for the price. Not only was our room clean but there’s a lot to do in this area, however I’d suggest not to book if you’re solely focused on what to do IN the hotel. Regardless, the area’s not so bad and this hotel speaks a lot for itself! I’m anticipating my next visit!

price and location for the week were great! the rooms were amazing, beds were alittle uncomfortable and i would bring your own pillow! but it was really close to everything and staff was really great! i would definitely come here again.

Reserved for 4 nights got there and it’s a motel not a hotel first of all … place is very old and run down with old furniture…should have left immediately but didn’t stayed for 2 hours and saw roaches or some kind of bed bugs on the very dirty carpeted floors in bedroom and shower, no hair dryer, no tv remote had to continuously ask for everything… there were spider webs in corner had to clean the ceiling omg … went to ask staff about if they had roaches or bed bugs couldn’t tell what they were killed one and took to front office. They became rude and cancelled our reservation and told us we had to leave … we walked across street to check other hotel when we came back we were locked out …😡 had threaten to call police so they unlocked our room to get our stuff as I was packing a roach was crawling on my suitcase omg had to leave immediately… DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!! Male staff very rude !!
