My family stayed at the Country Inn and Suites for 5 nights in early April 2026. We were impressed with the size of the room (2 queen beds) and by the breakfast area and breakfast offerings. The room was larger than average and had multiple places to sit, which seems to be rare. The décor was a little dated but fine. The breakfast area is large and had seating for 30+ people. The hot breakfast options were great and varied each day of our stay. The pool area was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub each night. We had read reviews that stated the water wasn't hot but it was a perfect 102° during our stay. There is a large parking area that made parking our Suburban easy. Hotel staff locks the parking area with a gate at night which is a nice security measure. The hotel is easy to access and it's less than 10 minutes to Great America. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area, it seemed like a very good value.

Bad experience with my 20 year old son. Despite I paid everything for him, he was not allowed to check in. Their policy was not clear and visible, and Laurie was clearly not caring or helpful. I hope the manager Pete Orozco knows that their team has no proper training to deal with these situations.

Only sitting here taking my time so no one has to experience the same. Long story short I left my 300$ jacket in the room and said please do not clean. They said okay and I didn’t worry, come back my jacket is gone off the chair I specifically placed. When I checked out and told the front desk they said they don’t have a manager??? Super unprofessional and I travel consistently for work. Will not be recommending or returning!!!

In Canada and USA building code, any structure up to 6 floors can be wooden and the problem depends on your neighbor. In general terms it is a nice place to stay at, the building is old but again, 3 floors. Rooms on 1st and 2nd floors, can hear foot steps and noise from up / down and sharing wall rooms. Plus points are, Location - 10 mins drive to San Jose airport and it is near highway to LA and San Frencisco. Security - the main gate to hotel remains locked at night and so does the glass door entry to the lobby, which operated with your room card. Breakfast was good.

They have gained our loyalty for life!! Not only were the rooms spacious and comfortable, the breakfast hot with so many yummy options, the shuttle convenient and easy to schedule, they also went above and beyond for us when we accidentally forgot our daughters backpack with her tablet in the shuttle. We called them and within about 30 mins we had her backpack delivered to us at the airport so we could get through security before our flight… they even brought even though they didn’t have anyone scheduled for the morning shuttle!! On top of that they were able to provide a crib for our toddler to sleep in which made the night so much easier for all of us. I will definitely recommend the Country Inn to all my family and friends who need a great hotel near the San Jose airport and also who look for amazing customer service from a hotel for a great price!
