We had a great time! Check in was easy and seamless, and they hauled my luggage for me to my room. It was also seamless when we had to change our room dude to the rat we found living behind our refrigerator. The woman working at the front desk was very helpful and understanding, and even moved us to a bigger room! THEN we got to make new friends when the police came to question us based on an incident that happened next door to the new room. They also have putters for put-put in the lobby for your convenience. Fun was had by all!

I recently stayed multiple nights at Uptown Oasis San Jose, and one of the biggest reasons I would return is because of the outstanding customer service from Priscilla at the front desk. During my stay, there were several large events happening in the area, and the hotel was clearly very busy and fully booked. I witnessed multiple situations where guests believed they had early check-in availability when that was not actually the case. Despite the pressure and confusion, Priscilla handled every interaction with professionalism, patience, and respect. She truly has a talent for customer service. I watched her calmly defuse a difficult customer situation while making the guest feel valued and respected. Her ability to remain calm and composed throughout the entire check-in process was impressive. When it was my turn to check in, she took the time to explain local restaurants, nearby attractions, and places worth visiting in the area, which I appreciated very much. I also had repeated issues with my key card becoming demagnetized. Although the staff explained how to avoid the issue, I still experienced problems, and Priscilla remained helpful and courteous each time assistance was needed. The room accommodations themselves were clean, comfortable, and made for a pleasant stay. The exterior of the property was decent overall, though I believe the landscaping could use additional trimming and cleanup, especially around some visible palm leaves. A little more exterior maintenance would significantly improve the overall first impression of the property. Overall, I would absolutely consider staying here again, and a large part of that decision is because of the excellent service provided by Priscilla. She represents the hotel very well and deserves recognition for her professionalism and customer care.

I am writing to formally recognize the outstanding service I received from Priscilla during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, her friendly and kind demeanor made me feel incredibly welcome. Priscilla is remarkably attentive to guest needs and consistently went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. It is rare to find someone so dedicated and amazing at what they do. She is a true asset to your hospitality team, and I hope she is recognized for her excellence.she recommended delicious meals, your restaurant is great! More Like an Old Motel Than a Hotel — Not Worth the Price I’m leaving this review based on my real experience, because the positive reviews I read were one of the reasons I decided to stay here. This was my first time at this hotel. I chose it because hotel prices in San Jose were very high during these dates; other hotels were charging around $300 to $400 per night, and I ended up paying almost $200 here. I thought it could be an acceptable option, but honestly, it was not. The place feels more like an OLD MOTEL than a hotel. From the moment you arrive, the appearance is disappointing: the lobby looks poorly maintained, the check-in area has parts taped together, and the common areas do not give a good impression. Also, even though check-in is supposed to be at 3:00 p.m., by 3:20 p.m. there were still more than 10 people waiting because rooms were not ready. The hallways were STAINED AND DIRTY, and overall the property looks old and poorly maintained. In the room, the window blinds/shades DID NOT WORK PROPERLY and would not go up correctly. The bed was one of the worst parts: no exaggeration, it was HARD AS A ROCK and very uncomfortable to sleep on. For me, this hotel would only be a LAST OPTION, if there is nothing else available or in an emergency. Personally, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT for that price.

We were well received and well assisted all the time. Nice hotel, beautiful pool, good cleaning. Especially Priscila was so kind to us helping us with our needs. Recommend it!
