The cleaning crew left their wet toilet scrubber next to my skincare, toothbrush, and toiletries. I know it was a freshly used one due to the dried up residue marks under the scrubber and my items. The previous night, they had knocked over my toothbrush into the sink and never picked it back up. I spoke to the front desk about this and she said she couldn’t do anything about it, but eventually offered $25 off our stay. I accepted it, but they never gave that credit off and charged the full amount still. The location is too far to walk anywhere so you’ve gotta Uber or get picked up. The room itself was fine and spacious, but the AC was very loud when it’d turn on and off during the night.

I usually go to the Marriott but they were booked so I decided to do La Quinta. Definitely will be returning. When we arrived we were greeted by Beto the vallet driver. Beto was amazing! He was very friendly, kind and did a great job with parking my car! The front desk staff was very helpful and kind and got us through check in quickly.

TV in room didn't work. I'm sure they could've fixed it but I didn't realize until late at night. The lights in the room don't work unless you put your room key in a slot by the door. That sounds cool and all, but when you're not in the habit of doing it, you could end up very confused if you're rushing to use the toilet and you can't find it because the lights won't turn on. It's another technology where I ask "Why? What problem did this solve?" I also found out the hard way that the bathroom lights turn off automatically if they don't detect motion by the sink. So if you take a long shower, the room will suddenly go pitch black on you. Good thing I didn't trip or anything! Also, the day I was checking out I got woken up at 9:15am by room service. They walked into my room to see that I was sleeping and ran away. I came out asking if there's a misunderstanding and when check out is. They said it's at 11. Since I was rudly awakened I decided to get up and get ready for my day earlier than expected. Not even an hour later, room service knocked and entered my room again! This time I tried responding to the knocking but I was on the toilet so I could only yell and it wasn't enough, they still opened the door. Either because they heard me after or they smelled what was going on, they left before seeing anything. I complained to the front desk and they were very apologetic and courteous. Any time I talked to lobby staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. They did ask if I had the do not disturb sign in and I didn't. That could explain why I got interrupted so much, but I find it ridiculous it happened so early and TWICE in less than a 1 hour span. It just really ruined my mood that morning and made the stay a lot less pleasant than it could've been.

Rooms were spotless. Staff was great. The only issue was the service in the breakfast area. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfast items were not restocked or refreshed daily. No fruit, no yogurt, coffee was empty, had to ask for more hot food. The food service employee was unavailable and we had to knock on the door.

Scam warning! I tried to check in and was told only two room options- one on first floor and another one on third floor near elevator. For security reason, I am not comfortable for first floor room. And the room near elevator will make me awake all night. So I asked if there will be another room coming up. I can even consider downgrading. The front desk told me no other rooms. If I am not happy about the rooms, I can leave. He will cancel the reservation and process the refund. I called Expedia and told them what’s happening. When they called the front desk and asked for refund confirmation, Leo and Will flipped the story saying only security deposit will be refunded. But the refund of hotel fees are denied. When I went back to confront them, clearly Will and Leo were playing games. When Expedia tried to escalate the cancellation , they started to say there is another room on fourth floor available. And they refuse to do the refund as promised to me before. This place is full of lie and drama. I don’t feel comfortable and safe to stay there. Please avoid.
