Nice modern room, a little small, not much clothes space, no microwave, but otherwise fine with reasonable rate. Staff isn’t friendly, but not rude. Location is perfect next to Santa Clara University, tons of restaurants across the street and nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

别住！实名劝退！有种族问题！噪音和服务极差！平台的rating别信！！！I booked a three-night stay at Signature Inn Santa Clara through Priceline and only stayed one night because of serious noise and service issues. The main problem was that the room was not usable for sleep or rest. During my first stay, loud repeated hammering noise started around 5:00 AM, happened again around 6:00 AM, and continued later that morning. I have multiple videos recorded around 7:50 AM and after 8:00 AM showing the repeated hammering noise. This was not a minor noise issue. It was loud, repetitive, and unacceptable for a hotel stay. There were other service problems as well. When I arrived, another couple and I waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes before anyone came to assist us. My room was located directly above the front desk/staff area, and based on what I observed, staff appeared to be staying or living on-site in that area. Between around 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM, I could hear loud conversations from the staff/front desk area, which disturbed my rest before the early-morning hammering noise started. I was also told there would be a storage fee to hold my belongings before check-in, which I found unreasonable for a hotel. I contacted Priceline about the noise issue and left after only one night. I did not stay for the remaining two nights, but no reasonable refund or resolution was provided. This was a one-star experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a clean, quiet, reliable place to sleep.

My son stayed for one night on December 30th. He was charged with a $100 security deposit and he has not received it back yet. We have talked twice on the phone with an Indian guy at reception who assured they were sending it back inmmediately. Still waiting. Very annoyed and thinking of next steps.

Stayed here 2x in the last week. The first time I was in a room with a King size bed (I think 201?) and it was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and very nice. I decided to stay again but got the Queen bed. Wow the bed was So incredibly hard most likely due to there being no box spring under the mattress and the frame having little to no support. I laid down for about 30 mins to try and sleep but the mattress made my hips ache like crazy. Went to the desk to ask for a room change or a matress topper and they said the best they could do was offer me a blanket. I had to use all the pillows, 2 extra blankets and double up my own blanket in order to make the bed remotely comfortable. I woke up and my body ached for several hours. For $135 I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the only resolution being offered a single blanket to "make it more comfortable". Aside from that Rooms are clean and bathroom was nice.

Very average place. Bed would move on the rickety frame, coffee machine was gross and didn't work. Others guests are right about the front desk staff not being great and never around when needed. If you don't care about these things, you might be okay with a relatively cheaper room here.
