Aishi Jain 2 weeks agoThis was easily one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've ever experienced. The moment I walked into the room, I felt like I had stepped back in time—in the worst way possible. Everything was painfully outdated, from the worn-out furniture to the overall look of the room. It felt neglected and forgotten, like it hadn't been updated in decades. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a refrigerator or microwave in the room. In 2026, those are basic amenities that most hotels provide without a second thought. Having nowhere to keep drinks cold or heat up food turned what should have been a relaxing stay into a constant inconvenience. They refused to provide amenities that we requested, such as a tea kettle, which was so frustrating as someone who required hot water. For the price I paid, I expected comfort and convenience, but instead I got a room that felt old, cramped, and completely lacking in essentials. The entire experience was frustrating and left me counting down the hours until I could leave. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they enjoy paying modern prices for a stay that feels stuck in the past.
Brian D 2 weeks agoThis hotel is located in a great area. Views of the river, city, and Riverwalk. Has a great bar and Ruth's Chris resturant inside. However, the pool was green and had visible algae growing in it, rooms are dated, and staff was slow to respond to requests (took almost an hour to get a hairdryer delivered to the room). Nicolas checked us in an was very friendly and accommodating.
Traci Sexton 2 months agoThe staff was truly the best part of the stay. The rooms are old and worn out. We paid for an upgrade to get the extra space with a couch (with 3 legs) and view. I’ve attached photos of those. The bed was great and with white noise we slept well. We had no hot water except for the last night of our stay when we figured out to warn the front desk so they could reset the boiler. We did inform them of the issues and adjustments were made to pricing. They offered a change of rooms but we didn’t want to repack and move everything. Again the staff were great! The facility was not.
Brewmount23 a month agoWe had a suite with a pullout and a regular room for my friend’s wedding. The suite with the sofa bed only had an extra pillow and no extra bedding. After about an hour of waiting and having to go down to the front desk, we got two extra top sheets and a fitted sheet but they were out of blankets. We stored wedding desserts in the suite since the regular rooms don’t have fridges. We went back to our suite in the morning and the room had been cleaned and emptied even though we didn’t check out. The desk host said it was because it was empty and the DND sign wasn’t on the door (the signs fall off the door every time you open it). Luckily, they had stored our desserts and items away so we were able to retrieve them but I don’t think it’s right to clean a room if a guest hasn’t indicated they are leaving. Only one mirror in the room and a very small sink vanity. Cockroach in the bathtub. The nice river view from the room was the only perk.
Alton Jones a month agoOne of the worst Hilton Hotels i ever stayed at. Although the lobby was updated, the elevators were in poor condition with very poor lighting. The guests parking was very poor at there several sewer pipes above the parking were leaking in many areas. Once I enter my room. I had to call for engineering to unplug the bathroom sink drain. The bed was so soft and worn out it was difficult to sit on let alone sleep in. The shower experience was also poor as water leaking out and on to the floor no matter how many towels I placed on the floor to keep water from leaking into the main room. The house keeping lady did her very best to accommodate, but there were things outside her scope of work. The only good experience I had was at the Ruth Chris restaurant, in which I visited twice. Great staff there made my dinning experience worthwhile. On my last day In checking out I informed the desk staff that I was deeply concerned about my safety and the safety of other guests on the property. When I arrive on the first night I was able to get access to the hotel from the garage and on to the elevator without a key card to All floors. This was after 11pm that anyone from the street not a gust has total access to the property were guests are staying. This posed a serious threat concern for me and your staff. As I spoke with one of the employees of the hotel I noticed she had a black eye, to which she started happen to her a week prior to my arrival, being assaulted by a not guests when he was asked to leave the property from the pool area.... unsecured area. I could see the fear in her face which happened to her could have happened to a guests or other employees. In closing large as the Hilton Hotel brand is, the safety of its guests and employees should be the utmost importance over anything. I would not ever stay at this Hotel anymore and I will in the future ask better questions about the Hotel safety protocols and conditions of the property before booking my next trip. I do hope you find this email message valid and put it as a priority to fix the issue as I described. Respectfully, Alton Jones
