Very convenient check in and check out. No waiting in long queues. Parking lot is just right in front of the hotel. Amazing views. St John’s river view is visible from all the sides of this hotel as the property is on the river, almost every room does have a partial or a full river view. Hassle free third party booking. 24/7 cafe located in the lobby for a quick bite at any time! You can also book a ferry ride, the St John’s River Taxi and board it on time just a few blocks away. The only challenge is the parking fee which is $35/day and finding street parking may be mission impossible.

The hotel was nice, however the staff was not the best. The whole reason we chose this place was for the pool. The staff at the front desk had no clue that the pool gate was broken and couldn't be used. When we asked for updates on the pool she had no idea if it was fixed or not. They didnt greet people as they enter. Just not very friendly or inviting at all. The cleaning ladies were amazing and very helpful. People in the eating area were very friendly as well.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Hyatt property and will not be returning. The room itself was very outdated and felt poorly maintained. There was also a strong mildew smell in the area near my room. I quickly realized why: half of the hallway carpet outside my door was completely soaked — so saturated it felt like walking through a puddle. I reported it, and while the carpet was dried later that day, by the next morning it was soaking wet again. Clearly something was broken or leaking. Despite this ongoing issue, guests in the surrounding rooms were not moved, and the situation was allowed to continue. It was unpleasant, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. The most frustrating part of my experience happened after checkout. I accidentally left my jacket on the chair in my room. Shortly after leaving, I contacted the hotel and was told they would check and get back to me. They never did. I called the next morning and was told I would receive a callback within 20 minutes. No call. I called again that evening and was told housekeeping hadn’t reported finding anything but that they would check again and call me the next morning no matter what. Once again, I never heard from anyone. The repeated promises of callbacks that never happened were incredibly frustrating. At this point, I can only assume my jacket was taken, and the hotel chose not to properly address it. Regardless, the complete lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Between the poor condition of the property and the unprofessional customer service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Stayed for the night to attend the PBR event. Service was excellent from start to finish. The view from our room was spectacular and we especially appreciated that the huge sliding door opened! Also, we particularly enjoyed the impressive selection of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres at the Regency Club. We opted to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and view rather than the onsite restaurants for dinner. Room service breakfast was simple to order and quick to arrive. The only issue we ran into was with the valet service. It is run by a 3rd party vendor and not the hotel. They are highly disorganized and we found a couple of the staff to be extremely rude. We will absolutely make this our go to lodging anytime we are in Jacksonville for an event.

I have stayed here several times and the service is always impeccable. The rooms seem clean and comfortable. I have always gotten the Riverview and it gives a beautiful view with a wonderful breeze. Honestly took one of the best naps of my life with the breeze flowing in and the comfortable bed. The restaurant can be slow but it's nice they also have a market where you can get hot breakfast to go and snacks etc. The bar is fun and all the bartenders are friendly and accommodating. There is also a Morton's on property. The hotel is walking distance to some nice restaurants and bars, the theater, and a beautiful walking path. Easy Uber drive to other locations.
