While the hotel is beautiful and in a great location, we had an unfortunate experience with the service received, particularly upon check-in. Upon checking in, our room was not ready - we had hoped it would be since we are Marriott members, but it was not unexpected or problematic that the room was not ready yet, and we were told it would be shortly. However, we then ended up waiting 3+ hours for our room, all while managing our infant who would have benefitted from a nap in a quiet/dark place after our travels into town. Upon mentioning this to the manager, we were not met with a professional, courteous, or sympathetic response, and eventually received an insulting offer of a worthless number of points for our troubles. This was a disappointing response to anyone's concerns, let alone Marriott members with a baby who had to wait until late afternoon to enter the hotel room, and the experience put a damper on the start of a celebratory weekend with family.

5 star because of its pool area. Grand and very welcoming pool area with lots of seating. There is a bar and a restaurant that take u food Poolside. Truly a good experience. The room layout is. Bit weird but was clean and organised.

Great location, awful design and service… I would never stay here again…. stayed between Dec 27 through 31. General complaints I am a lifetime Platinum member and the hotel offered me a breakfast with a spending limit of $25. This was the first time I had ever encountered such a limit. Either offer full breakfast or do not offer. The design of the room was very unusable. The bed was in the middle of the room and the desk was behind it. It was very hard to move around and there was no bed side table to put my glasses and phone. The safe was in the middle of the closet so only three shirts could be hanged. The shower door was not adequate to keep the water in so the bathroom looked like a pool after every shower. There was only one door for shower and toilet, so if two people stay in the room, they cannot use them simultaneously. First day, I checked in with a very nice smile and claimed room upgrade. Then things went south… Room keys did not work and I ended up going downstairs. An employee came with me claiming that I am doing something wrong and he could not open it either. Employee let me in with his security badge and asked me to come down and get my new keys (did not offer to bring me the keys). 15 minutes later, a couple came to the room and tried to get in when I was half naked. They had been assigned to my room also. We both went down and reception fixed it without an apology to me or the other couple. Second day, somebody came around 1pm to clean my room and I asked her to give me 5 minutes and then she can come and clean. I went to pool (awesome pool by the way) and came back at 5 pm and the room was not serviced. Also, my room key did not work on the pool entrance and elevator, so I ended up going back to reception to get another key. Third day.. on breakfast server did not seat me on a table I wanted even though the restaurant was not busy. It took them 20 minutes to take the order and then brought me the wrong omlette (spinach bacon tomato instead of ham cheese and tomato). And the omelette came with Shetland Black potato for some reason. Tasted awful. And today was Monday and there was a construction next door on a high rise with extreme loudness. The pool area was covered with water and concrete rain. I would expect the hotel to inform the guests in advance about this condition. Fourth day… finally nothing to mention. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied from the experience. These may be small things but I would expect better from a 5 star hotel.

I wanted to make sure I took the time to leave a review for this hotel because my stay was truly amazing!!! I stayed here over my birthday weekend, and from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed so warmly by Kate and Emily at the front desk. Check-in was seamless, and I even got a complimentary upgrade. After mentioning it was my birthday, they went completely above and beyond with warmed cookies, a bottle of champagne, a handwritten birthday card, and even singing happy birthday at my hotel room door! I travel for work at least twice a month, and this was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time, and that means a lot coming from me. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the service was phenomenal, and the location was perfect - walkable to great restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. I can’t say enough good things and will absolutely be staying here again! Thank you for such an incredible stay!

Our flight in Fort Lauderdale was canceled, next available was in Miami the next day. Booked this hotel from expedia because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. Did not know what to expect when we arrived and because of the flight cancellation our moods were soured. Check in was painless and when the receptionist learned of our travel issues she upgraded our room immediately brightening our moods. The room was awesome, the bed was super comfortable, the rain shower was excellent and the wifi was fast. Plenty to do around the hotel, can't wait to stay here again sometime.
